EF & Japanese Nostalgic meet was in Edina

Dopery event was in St. Paul ... maybe 6-7miles from your work place = )
It was at Aldrich Arena

If your looking for the next local car event , there is a car show on 8-23, & then there is PG first week of Sept @ BIR

Nice stuff guys!! Damn some good looking stuff. Charlie, I was looking at a similar pod, 3 gauge for the dash, it would fit that one square in the center of the dash.

I want to get a set of 4 extended top hats, anyone have any issues with the ebay ones? I can get a set of 4 for the price of a pair from GC.

OKay, because I had a full set on my CRX previously. I liked how it made it easier to swap suspension as a unit instead of having to pull the OE hats.

Additional question - If you do use the stock tophats with Koni's, do you just pull the metal sleeve from the bushings to fit the Koni shaft?

I know the OE busings in the OE tophats arent as stiff, will that be okay?

Charlie- Innovative has some mounts that go on the lower bar. I use them with the F/R radiator and it sits a good inch or two lower than moving the factory mounts. They are $50 on innovatives site as well.

make sure you flush out the block as well, otherwise when you mix RPI with coolant, I found it gets gross and scummy after track abuse. I use WW mixed with distilled water; no more issues now

I have the Full Race EF rad, it just sits lower, ill get some pictures of it today though.

In my other car I plan on using a EG rad with those brackets and a VIS Sir style hood.

Interested to see pics when you get around to it, this is what i have planned for mine.. Just unsure on whether the eg rad will still *fit* in the EF bay without ghetto leaning it.

Top View using Innovative bracket:

Hope thats enough. I am using a US hood and also notice the additional space up top. Not sure if cutting would still be required on the skin of the hood though. I can try and get more if need be.

I also think tacking them in place would help as well for reassurance of staying in place, I know mine have moved slightly possibly from hitting speed bumps.

Awesome, thanks for posting that. Looks like there should be ample space above where the rad cap is.

The 'square clamp' on a round tube style of attachment looks pretty average though, not a very effective solution. Also the bolt/nut head reduces the front clearance by another 15-20 mm by the looks which means it could hit and rotate your radiator support mounts when going in/out of driveways.

It has rotated on me a couple times. Not exactly sure when but I am thinking of getting them tack welded in place then paint or powder coat the bar again.

As far clearance and hood cutting I was refering to the use of a EG style radiator. The full race has no issues.

Granted I have the SIR front end, but I clear this radiator just fine. Im using welded tabs on the Innovative Traction bar. Ive used the "clamp on" style tabs and they were always spinning and coming loose. I would highly recommend welding the tabs on. Ill try to get a picture of my tabs for you.

Presidential- Is that a DC Integra radiator? Definately want to see your radiator tabs as well. I did see a while back that K-Tuned had its own style as well.
