Video from an auto-x I ran yesterday with the Florida Corvette Club. My best run of the day, I managed to pull off a 43.5 and took top spot out of the Hondas. There were 8 or 9 Honda/ Acuras out there with various setups. All B series though! Not sure where I stand overall with the Corvettes, but should be somewhere close to the top as well.

I dunno man every day I walk into the garage its like my own EF meet. 2 89 civic Si in there.
In other news I picked up the seat for the red h2b project. Getting real close to being done. Its a passenger but in great condition. May have to contact PCI about there mounts, otherwise I'll get one custom made locally. Its a super clean seat too. I checked for the triangle ****, recaro letters touching, serial number and sticker on bottom and last was the recaro stamped in the plastic.
Anyone have a recommendation for this? It will be in driver location with the other stock seats in place.

Coop - you never mentioned how the control arms were once you got them.
Rob. - never mentioned your top choice for filter
I'd be up for meets if we all lived closer together, lol.
almost there with the bits for the rear brake swap - just waiting for those whiteline RTA bushings (4-8 weeks from when i ordered them, lol).
Question - currently running old Bilstein HD's and NS race springs (really high spring rate), I picked up the Koni sports on special from TireRack. So if I run the NS springs, with the Konis, its basically a NS Cup Kit.
I always thought Koni Sports were only good up to 500lbs, but the NS springs are over 500lbs and normally sold with the konis as a cup kit. i called NS to check, and they said they should be fine, but I havent checked with Koni.
Is there any real concern on blowing out the konis? Should I eventually go with the GC CO's? Would using the lower perchs on the koni's help prolong strut/shock life?

I really dont have one.. but I do like the Mahle filters, Great price, and awesome build quality ! A close second would be the Baldwins, third would be the MANN - BOSCH which are all made by Purolator in the U.S., so I read.
Thank you kindly sir! so are you adding a wagon to the collective yet?

Notes:
FRONT SPRING - LOWERING 2.2" / RATE 575 lbs/in
REAR SPRING - LOWERING 2.0" / RATE 540 lbs/in
NEUSPEED Race Springs utilizes agressive spring rates and as such, high-performance dampers are highly recommended. We recommend using Koni Sport Shocks.
I think you will be fine running the regular konis for a while, but if you want the most optimal setup, the "race" valved konis will be the way to go. You can send in your regular shocks to be rebuilt with the race valving down the road as well. The only thing GC will allow you to do is raise/lower your car, you still pick your own spring rates, and the rates you have sound pretty decent. However Im not sure you can run the GC setup with that particular set of springs anyways since they probably are not the short type the coilovers use.
