Well buddies....my life changed quite a bit this weekend. Had my first real SCCA club race. Did fine,,finished mid pack last race...limped car in on battery power but took the checker in all three races(bit over 30 min each). Had some great battles...mid Ohio is so fun. I can't stop thinking about it. Rented a garage with my buddy "koni lee" grimes and was next to my good buddy tom. These guys race lemons with me and have both been racing since the early 90's so they helped guide me through the "how things work at Scca" thing

 

worked 24hr Chump Car this weekend (well i worked 12hrs of it) and i guess around hour 4 i started noticing this white CRX. was slow and steady the whole time, but still remained in 66th-68th place in a field that started out with around 150 teams. we got hourly updates and for 1st-3rd and they made a point to let me know about the CRX #198. asked a buddy of mine about him the next day (he worked when the second half of the race) and told me didn't finish i saw this yesterday on FB
