he fellas need your imput/thoughts. I had my car weighed yesterday.

Added:
+ Bswap (vs. dswap)
+ turbo kit (turbo + manifold alone is 30lbs)
+ full 6 piece urethan ww body kit & 2 spoilers
+ coilovers + sway bar
+ 304ss 3' full exhaust (vs. stock exhaust)
+ FR traction bar (vs. - radiator support/stablizer arm)
+15 slips (vs. oem 14" steelies)

Removed:
- AC
- stock exhaust
- rear bumper support
- spare tire
- full radiator

I thought it was going to be in the +2500lbs range it ended up being much lighter than expected only 2,366lbs

Keep in ind a stock 91 civic si is 2,291lbs.
car has full interior & 1/2tank of gas

.... thoughts ?

I was told by the previous owner of my car that it was weighed at 2050lbs. It still has full interior, but it has the JDM bumper supports, no air/heat/blower, no radio. Also has a B18 and all the typical bolt ons. 3" Aluminum exhaust.

i dont see what the surprise is, the parts you added dont weigh that much more, if not lighter than the stock parts

Charlie- 75 lbs is not much considering everything removed and added. I am guessing you meant 3" exhaust and not 3' though.

The strange thing is that when I push other cars around the shop vs. the shoebox, it seems so much heavier than eg/ek. Heck even pushing my brothers DA seems easier.

I want one. I'll likely make one for when I try to run 180 mph in standing mile next year

Charlie what trans are you running?

I used the mFactory gear calculator prior to purchasing a ctr trans for my h2b setup to understand where i would peak at.

right now i have a gsr trans with mfactory lsd and more likely with 16" wheel.

really not sure what RPM i want to be at when i hit 170-180mph...i'll see what other sugguest as time gets closer to it. Worse cause i think a LS 5th gear should be tall enough.
