Cool, thanks for the tip.

I know Gearspeed rebuilds are awesome, but the price is a bit out of my range - anyone have info on Synchrotech?

Sigh

Thought I fixed my over heating rear disc issue. But it peeped its head out the other day. Seems to maybe be hanging on the rear driver side, starts to stink/smoke a little. Gets pretty hot. I am noticing its when I wash the car, dont drive it and rust builds on rotors is when I have the issue. Seems like it has issues getting "unstuck" after. However if its rust free seems to have no issues. My guess is the caliber needs to be changed out. Also it never wore correct on the drives side, as if the pad was not sitting/touching fully. Im so sick of dealing with brake issue. Note to self, dont ever change to rear discs (

Thoughts on reman from Autzone?

I bought remanufactured rear calipers from napa which is probably the same. No problems here. I would say get a new caliper, or even get a buddies or used one to see if that is actually the problem.

I want to be just like Boosted Chemist when I grow up!

It's a '99 Taco, one owner, V6 Pre-Runner as my new daily. The camper is currently on craigslist, btw.

el Presidente will be missed. I bought it about two years ago for $5400, put 20k miles on it and sold it for $5800.

No, that's a photoshop that whiteslipswithstickers did after I bought that car. He dubbed it el Presidente so it has been an ongoing joke ever since.

Nice pick up! Pun intended. Ha! I seriously miss my Tundra

Since we're posting pictures of our new trucks, here's CRXTOWR v.2.0. Picked this up in Nov. of last year. My FIRST brand new vehicle:

Do you have any pictures of the whole collection? Sort of like those barnyard finds where the pictures shows 20 cars and piles of parts?

Yes, no...wish I could

Person selling didnt want anything spread out, that picture was taken by a hidden camera

To give you a idea, some things I spotted

Bumpers, Doors, trunks, windows, fenders, fender linning, headlights, tailights, tons of seats, carpet, engines "B16's/LS/D16/D15", 2 race cars, crx cut in half in basement, wheels "oem", headers, custom made exhaust, fiber glass hoods, lexan windows, aftermarket springs, slicks, some race wheels. Few cars in the back yard

Its ALOT, my friends are digging into it pretty good though, wish it was hatch stuff

Nice trucks guys! The wife and I were recently out looking for an 01-04 TRD Taco 4D, but every single one we found fell outside of our loan requirements. We even tried to move on an 06 King Ranch at one point but it was sold out from under us. Really wanted the cow hide interior Wound up picking this up though...

Very happy with it thus far and they were able to work out a pretty good deal considering my shoddy credit history. Haven't done **** on credit in 6-7 years though, so think that helped a bit. Plans for it are a Level kit, running boards, bolt-on flares, "Rock Warrior" wheels/ 33" tires, spray in bed-liner and tonneau cover, and a Sahara bar up front. She's strictly a pavement queen, but gonna have her looking sexy regardless.

@-NA-aLL-thE-wAy-Why are you selling the camper? Comes in very handy and I'm kinda partial to the style of that one. Will eventually pick one up for the Tundra, just too pricey at the moment.

4.6L? That motor's a marked improvement over the 4.7L I had. You get more power and an extra gear. Although nothing beats that 5.7L in the trundra. Such an awesome truck/motor. Just wish they made a diesel

everyone's getting new trucks...unfortunately for me, Land Cruiser is going down for a bit. Recently started overheating, so i figure we might as well do some of that maintenance it's been lacking. in the 6 years of ownership we've only done brake pads and oil changes...bad i know

1) I want the money from selling it.
2) I bought the truck because my wife and I are opening a custom cake shop so I need to haul large ovens, commercial refrigerators, dry wall, etc.
3) My wife thinks they are creepy.

The wing will happen and I'll upgrade from my old one, but don't hold your breath for the other stuff. I've been waiting since 2008 so I did what I had to do. Now I have xenon sideskirts and my own custom splitter (using PCI brackets of course). If the whole package comes out it would be pretty awesome.

I need to put all my JDM front end stuff up for sale. Boo yah.

Boo yeaaahhhh!!! USDM FTW! Sell JDM stuff, buy cage, tires, brakes, useful-stuff! Gas for CRXTOWR...

I know, I have heard rumors for a while now.. guess the PCI stuff is the only stuff worth holding your breath on, maybe that offer they have means they are serious this time. I hope so.. I love people who still support and make new stuff for our 20 year old monsters.

I was on the phone with Brian (PCI owner) 2 weeks ago and he said the air dam was nearly complete for the splitter set-up. But the splitter will be fiberglass reinforced plywood. I'm such a fan of alumilite now that all I'd need out of that kit is the air dam. We'll see when it comes out. I know I really want the vented hood. The difference in engine bay temps is crazy when you have a little vent for heat to escape.
