I've been lurking. Built traction bar. Full eg harness. Hydro d series swap. Innovative mounts. Hydro pedals. 89 bumpers and my ole friend rich hooked me up with a set of.89 mouldings.

What paint did you use in your bay and wheel wells? I'm trying to find a good epoxy.

89>90 lol. It needed a face lift anyway. Too many black 90-91s running around.

The fender wells are done in grav-tex. It shoots out of a bottle. You can adjust the texture with the air pressure. Its kinda the reason I went with the whole gray dealeo. I ordered the wrong color by mistake. It was supposed to be black. The paint on the bay is just duplicolor machinery grey. Oilbased. Thinned with mineral spirits.

there's no problem with that. the problem is that there'd be no give in the seat if it rolled. roof would just come down on their heads. that's why you use a roll bar in conjunction with a fixed back seat

yah stock seats are designed to collapse in the event of a rollover so you dont get crushed.

B16CRXT- I made the dash to trunk harness shorter because the last time i made it 3' too long, i soldered the connections to the momentary push buttons instead of using connectors that were too big, and i used a switch that would sit more flush to the dash because i hit my knee on the other toggle i had used a few times, the switch also has a led in it which meant running an extra power for it, also instead of having the 'power on' to the compressor switch run from the ignition i went ahead and ran it through the harness to the trunk to be directly connected to the battery that way i wont need the key to be on for my compressors to turn on and work

VEM- car is coming with an a6si tranny and a brand new stock clutch

Hey gents - found out I'll pan wasn't leaking, it is the driver side trans seal, lol.

However my 3rd gear is noisy under load, I think it may be a bearing - anyone local have an A6 Si tranny for sale? Also any recs for a clutch and flywheel? Stock A6 with header and intake.

Recommend rebuild or replace? It's the original trans.

Car is getting there. Also sunroof doesn't open, I may need to drop it and lube it all up.
