I think the car looks great, I do think that maybe black flares might break it up a bit.. really hard to tell through pictures. I did really like the old set-up but I'm a US front bumper kinda guy. I hate to say it but the old set-up may have been more aggressive looking, I guess it's b.c as you said.. you dont see many J's fronted cars out on the track.

I think at least one track day should be lined up! It already brought you home a car show trophy, wouldnt be fair without a track day time slip!

 

I love the way it looks, the only thing i would change is, where you had the fender work done, where it is folded to the inside of the wheel well, have that whole area painted black instead of the painted in black line where the molding would go.

 

This or get your oem moldings painted

I know the car is performance over looks - but I think its the fact that the car has flares up front and non in the rear - it doesnt seem as balanced. However in keeping with the car's actual intended uses, flaring the rear really would be only for a look.

too clean...no black marks from contact with the tire wall, no bugs in the grill, no scrapes on the front lip from hitting the gators, no grass or dirt in the seams from long treks off road, and especially no pics of it on the track...poor front bumper will never know what it means to live

Car looks really good Nick... I too thought the J's bumper would sit lower.. looking at the J's CR-X I believe that they shortened the gen 2 bumper, the gen 1 (the one that we all see in the pics online) looks taller. Either way I think its as low as a normal front with a J's lip and looks badass, now you gotta wait for those 245/40s.
