Pretty sure Honda/Acuras are 56.1 Hubs.

I ordered custom spacers from http://www.motorsport-tech.com/ First order took forever, but my second one was to me within the week. Good quality stuff there.

I just wish I lived closer to a track to get some seat time at. West coast seems so much more racer friendly, minus emissions.

It was sad to see my interior go i didnt really want to do that. Only problem wit the cage is that i dont like how the A pillar bars are designed. They dont hug the dash as much as i'd like. Kinda worried about driving this thing on the road now with a roll cage. The bars are pretty close to my head. Hoping bucket seats and harnesses will make me feel a bit safer.

Typically they mount through seatbelt bolts and the c pillar is at the rear of a hatchback.

Have been thinking of buying a pre made weld in or bolt in kit too for the longest time, nervous about fitment.

I am looking at getting a single seat for my 89 Civic Si and wondering what rails does everyone use? Preferably not a fixed position.

One of my Best friends had a full cage in his 911. He had the containment seat and a 5 point harness. He drove it on the street. The issue is racing harnesses need to be tight to be better than a factory seat belt.

So he was doing a spirited drive home with the top belts loose and lost the rear end, went off the road, and smacked a tree. His head hit the rollbar.

At his funeral he wore his favorite fishing hat to hide his skull. His son was 6 months old. He never knew him.

You have to remember a racing harness will stretch 1 inch for every 10 miles an hour impact speed. The rollbar padding is for helmets, not skulls.

Please please please do not drive with a full cage without a helmet on.

Mark

I have an occasional CEL, but I haven't checked it out, yet. I was thinking it was probably running rich (27mpg on the last tank of gas). I should probably diagnose that CEL and go from there.

The bracket is kinda cheap, just a plate with two side pieces. I had to machine quite a bit for it to clear the inner firewall cowl. That was strike one, strike two, its not reifornced at all, so when u push the pedal in, the entire assembly rotates down about 1". So instead of pushing the clutch you are spending energy bending hte pedal until it engages. Im sure they are great guys but this product was very underdeveloped and for the price, not worth it. If they designed it better and had done their "r&d" properly this wouldn't be an issue/

LAst week end i got a chance to play with the hush bracket, it bolts up perfect, the pedal assembly went in first try, no cutting ect. The clutch isnt hooked up but it moves very nice, esp with the willwood setup. In addition, the pedal throw is much shorter than the stock/suja1 setup.

back to the bracket.. i have it on all my cars and they never move one bit, it is a super short engagement.. How long ago did you buy one? I love mine, they even made me one for my DA when i did that car.
