Question for you EF guys, I understand that there was some variance in the design of the floor pan on the US cars, does that rail fit the 88-89 or the 90-91? I think I need a rail designed to fit the 88 US cars to fit my JDM import.
Here is my second CR-X I got recently, an Australian delivered ED9 with D16A8. Needs some bodywork and a timing belt and it should be a decent car.
His loss i had money waiting.

whats with the floor plate? i see lots of dudes using them, but i dont know why?
whats the advantage besides the obvious "EF floors are ugly, and this isnt", (which i can totally appreciate too)
-roadracing noob-
brad, lets make some! i've got thick aluminum stock sheet and a CNC machine!

the reason i want one is for my concious mind. i don't notice it on track but if i am driving it around the neighborhood i notice my foot "stuck" in the plug below the gas pedal. my heel fits in it perfectly so the plug has been "broken" so now it sits "down in it". just waiting for the time i notice it trying to go to the brakes hard and get "caught up". different chassis so maybe the efs don't have that same plug. plus i don't like the ribs in the floor. i would like a flat floor. i could make a nicole richey pun here but i won't. i know nick rps thinks she is smoking.
i just need to figure out how i'm going to set up the garage.well the Hurricane is here and my area is just on the outskirts. gotta call and check on my family an friends as all of them live 10 miles or less from the beach
Np
Possibly, may not be as screwed up as it sounds though. Could be a broken shift fork.
Synchrotech sells rebuilt DX trannys for just under $500, Rebuilt EX/Si models for just under $600
I paid $3 for a Y7 tranny at a scrap yard one time, I was dropping of scrap steel and it was laying on the ground, had a couple of pieces broken off the bell housing, but it wasn't structural or in a place where fluid would leak. Most I ever paid for a D-series tranny was $40 and I've bought about 8 of them.

This thread is pumping out win right now..
So half of Long Island is evacuated.. this **** is crazy, gas stations out of gas, no water, batteries, flashlights in the stores.. People are really going crazy around here right now. I think I need to go stock up on ammo. How are things down by you Blu?
if no one hears from me after Sunday, send search and rescue for a house floating with 2 crx's in it.

i'm just getting strong gusts here and no rain. family in wilmington tells me that power's out, trees are falling, and a lot of wind. granted it's down to a category 1 hurricane, stay safe up there
guy on another forum had completely rebuilt his CRX...was an awesome car with everything he did and just needed to be painted. then katrina came and buried it under water for a couple weeks

That guys is a laaaaaaaaaaaaaagger. Contact Brian directly. I think he fixed Egeezy's issue with his mount not fitting a long time ago. He's the same guy who made my wing brackets and he's super nice and professional. Not sure why he had Charles slangin' parts for him.
