i think 75% of us still rock usdm, infact only one on this page is nihkon...

I actually have both 88-89 and 90-91 USDM front and rear bumpers, plus EF3 plastic housing headlights, just looking for 88-89 side mouldings.

there is about 1/2'' of real ef bumper at the bottom...the VW lip is epoxy'd to the bottom, and bolted to it...so its basically the bottom of the bumper. haha

i should get a few new pics of it...i need another lip to sit better on the splitter.. gotta hit up the JY

**Big big thanks to my good buddy fourthgenhatchb17 for all the help with the engine assembly and installation!!**

I still have a bunch of work to do, but it's finally starting to look like what I had planned in my head.

Really clean man, well done, any full car shots?

They are custom 10:1 pistons from Arias. And yup, running obd1 through a P06 ecu (I think that was it at least, lol) with a Hondata S200.

I'm also interested in this issue as its been happening to my girlfriends Da lately. I was thinking icu. But dimmer switch is a good idea too.

Thanks for the reply either way.

Luckily the car is generally in good shape. The engine runs well, but has a rare hesitation which I think is the TPS. Also need to (hopefully just) replace the brushes in the alternator since I get an intermittent charging system light.

The car only has ~161,400 miles on it as of last night. It rides well, but when we had it up in the air getting a new b-pipe made we realized bushings in the rear are getting... not so great. So there's an excuse for an upgrade. Granted I don't want to highly modify this car. It's just too nice to want to screw with anything or replace anything that's still perfect.

Usually Custer light problems are dimmer switch. What year is your car? I may be able to get you one at a local pull a part.

I love TG. looks fresh nihkon..

The autopower is nice, been looking around myself but as I keep looking at prices.. by the time Im done paying for shipping I'm pretty sure I could just get a custom cage made locally.

To the guys with CRX's with stiff suspensions...

Do you have problems closing your hatch to the point that you have to slam it to get it to latch? Depending on if I'm on level ground or not, I may have to push the hatch in one direction and I forcefully close it in order to make it latch.

Anyone have similar problems and a possible solution?

First check those little rubber stops, but Im sure you have.. lube the lock up good.

Did you just change the suspension and thats why you think its related? I have a hard time on my beater in the same manner.. but I have always just thought b.c its old. a good slam solves it!

The more I look into spoilers and aero for the crx I cant help but think of all the J's style spoilers that bolt directly to the trunk... wouldnt the vibrations of the trunk cause the spoiler to be turbulent? I have been thinking of some sort of an "X" brace to hold the hatch down from the inside. I was wondering if anyone knew what they were doing or if they were just bolting them to the ***.
Nick's still looks the most stable... and most adjustable. whats the odds of Brian making another set of those mounts?!?!
Not sure If I could tackle those on some old bridgeport lathes and milling machines.

Hotsauce: yea, I've adjusts those bumpers before. It's only ever had this trouble since I've had my kSports. I'm sure it's to do with chassis flex or something. It's been doing this for a few years. I've just always dealt with it and forget to ask others about it. Lol

I've developed a dent in the panel over the latch from pushing on that spot to close the thing.

Good Idea Boosted.. not sure how much we would actually save with gas prices recently though. Ive read that autopower offers two bars an 88 and an 89+ model too. good to know I wont need to hack door panels.. but Ill still have oem seat belt holes.. hmm...
Need to save some funds..

B16- My beater has tein SS on it.. so it could possibly be some chassis flex! You open your hatch quite often Im guessing! try adjusting your lock up a little and some lube! lube never hurts!
