But you never know though. I'm always on the look out even though no body will find where I live. Just never know at some point.

One is to the alternator and the other goes to the starter.

Piece of mind owns all for me. Knowing without doubt your car is safe is better than worrying anyday. In my mind there's some specially trained group out to steal my car paranoia is WAY underrated

Hearing stuff like this, and knowing about stuff like this are some of the factors that made me move away from Honda before. Unless it's a recent model, maybe lightly modded, it's hard to sometimes justify - at least if it is a later model, you have a good chance of getting decent replacement value.

For our 20 or so year old cars, it's a bit harder.

Part of me understands that, while another part refuses to let a dirtbag thief dictate my choice of cars. There are ways to keep your car safe

I went to put my a/c belt back on teh other day. Cranked the car up and turned it on and teh damn clutch doesn't kick in. My freon must have leaked out during the winter. That sucks. BTW: what a/c belt are you guys using? The one I have is TOO TIGHT. I think it's for the 91 crx. I think I tried a 91 teg before and it was too large...
I went looking in more detail a little bit ago because I seemed to remember that I didn't plug the power wire for the compressor up when I swapped the gsr in. that was it! Plugged it up and turned it on and I have ice cold a/c again! woot!

BTW: Those wheels look lavender to me.

Believe me, I understand that as well, I left once and came back because it was what I knew well enough to do well and do so cheaply. I still enjoy them so it makes it a hard descision. They are still undeniably easy to work on and dead reliable in most cases, but not as cheap anymore.

Hella easy! I didn't realize how easy until I ventured into an 89 240sx. That didn't last long needless to say

if it doesn't have a coating on the outside of the stainless lines don't get them. goodrich are good brands for brake lines and are dot approved, don't skimp on something that will help you stop. seen ebay lines expand under normal use.

don;t you have a pc680? Mine died on me almost daily when I had it in the car. It's why I went back to a FULL size battery. and by FULL, I mean larger than stock, lol.

I love walmart batteries. They die on you within warranty period, take them in for a free replacement. My car came with a dead battery, turns out warranty was still valid so I got a replacement for free lol

Okay boys. I've been having this problem on and off. But now its worse. I have smoke coming from my steering column. I can't pin point its location... It seems to occur randomly. (like it dosnt seem to only come when wipers or turn signals are on) anyone else experience this problem? Any suggestions?

Gotta be something electrical. Take your column covers off and look for exposed wires. Possibly near the ignition.

I did that, all I can see is smoke but its so faint I can't pin point where exactly its coming from. When I have more time ill have to really dig into it. I just don't want it to start on fire . Haha

I lost another hood today

And I just got it painted two days ago.

I was that close to having my car completely done with overhauling.

But atleast the new motor is in.
