I ordered my Koni/GC combo a long time ago, before I really planned to go as far as I have. Most likely will need/want to upgrade to a stiffer spring eventually but for now it is what it is.. rates are 400front-300rear. Im not really sure as to what spring rate I will prefer with all bearings instead of rubber/poly everywhere. I figure trial and error.

Take a pic of that bolt.. Is the control arm still stuck in?

Rob. would never be able to really sell that car after all the scam CL pages that have been made for it.. he probably wouldn't anyway. I see it every so often too.

Kinda random question.. Ive been looking at seats, cant afford much, but I noticed all the Sparco seats seem to be a lot cheaper? is it just me or did seats in general become a lot cheaper? This is weaksauce prices.. not ebay or some scam site.

What about buddy clubs? They're not FIA certified, but I've sat in a few and seem nice. Personally, I've been rocking only one seat for a while now. It's just too expensive for another seat for the passenger. Although, no one likes to ride in my car on track because they can't hold on for ****

I also noticed the basic Recaro buckets only go for about $600 ea. these days.

I saw the Buddy Clubs on the site too.. some special going on for the "limited edition" ones. And the black and grey isnt bad. I almost think the grey would match with the oem black and grey interior. Fair price, looks solid. I like the recaro's more than sparco's. Wish I could afford a fancy status or bride but I dont think its necessary to spend that much on a seat, yet. The shipping is the killer. same reason Ive always waited on a roll bar. nothing ships cheap to NY, I need to leave this money pit! No one carry's seats around here really. not much to go by besides reviews, and each *** is different! Really need to finish the car first.

Whats your opinion on a Basic Bucket vs a FRP seat?
FIA certs are only good for so long, correct? so If you bought a seat and it sat for a while it would be useless as a FIA seat until re-certified? I may be totally off.

I rock a buddy club seat and love it. I have a set of f1 spec type 5's and they're fairly uncomfortable. The limited suede buddy clubs make it hard not to fall asleep on long drives. There is a little flex in them however but its never been a problem.

one reason i hated having a walbro in mine. i never let mine get below a 1/4 tank. not to mention the pump noise was so annoying. i ended up swapping it back out for an oem pump since i didnt really have a need to run a walbro.

i was sitting in my car and kept hearing the noise like air was coming out of my tires or something, was actually the fuel pump...didn't know it was that loud. the walbro i just replaced wasn't that loud, or i never noticed the buzzing

I'm either used to the noise of my walbro or my exhaust is too loud. That's one thing I remember about the walbro is not to let the tank get below 1/4 or the pump will burn up. At least that's what I was told 9 years ago

Good to know! I don't like letting any car get below a quarter tank, but when money's tight, it happens. Sorry to hear Blu, Sucks to change that walbro out too.. personally hate dropping the tank.

just tweak the gas gauge to read zero at a quarter tank!! hahaa.
