^^ I have been in those before as well and those are pretty freaking sweet!! The only issue was the seats sat up really high, and me being super tall anyways didn't help, but it wasn't the seats it was the rails.
I would love a set of these over buckets but safety is a lot more important than comfort is. and I wouldn't dare rock a roll bar with a recliner seat.
Ill have to wait for a nicer beater that deserves a baller seat!

The AFI doesnt have a drain back feature does it? I suppose that's personal choice to have to purge the can or let the oil drain back to it. I've never found a solid answer as to which is better
i thought it was, your werent suppose to rock a non-reclinable without a rollbar?
IMO rollbars are safe with a reclinable or non-reclinable seats. As long as your using stock belts with the reclinable and harnesses with the non-reclinables.
Yeah, Ive always used the Go all the way or not at all rule.
As in, Roll bar, buckets, harness.
or no roll bar, recliner seats, oem belts.
The first option is costing at least 2grand I'd say though.

It all works as a system. Oem seats are designed to break in a rollover so you don't get crushed, vs being stuck straight up in a bucket seat. Therefor the need for a rollbar and harnesses with bucket seats.
Same plan, Figure I can stick with oem seats and belts for now.. Shipping is killer on that bar though.
Hit about 70 today, back to 40's tomorrow.. but stole your idea Chemist and slipped one of my rims on the rear.. no brakes in there yet

and car has a nice layer of dust protecting it! Sh!ty Iphone pic but just wanted to share. My garage isnt as messy as it looks. the beater is on the other side for now too.

I need to look past the little things and just start putting stuff together.

Mmmmmmmm, black on bronze looks good.
I'm going to be putting up my Regamasters and Enkeis for sale this weekend. Will link you all to sale if interested. The Motegi's are long gone.

Thanks Guys, I have some Azenis ready to go on them.. just no rush with everything else missing. I am being super cautious with everything. Ive never put so many bearings together, not sure what the best way to go about aligning and tightening everything is, I know Im going to be back and forth once its done trying to get it to even roll straight. I want to be able to drop the rear down for now at least so I can roll the motor under. I should probably call MFactory and ask what they best recommend. Not sure if I should be using some sort of lube on the bolts going through the bearings. I know I need to lube the rod going through the PCI RTA bearing. Putting brakes on would probably help too.
i put anti-seize on almost everything suspension-bolt-wise. it'll always come apart again easily then. not much, as it can be messy.
on my sphericals, i shoot em with silicone spray every once and a while.
they will not last forever...dont lose your head over it. its an open bearings nature to kill itself.
they are easy to change once the cartridges are already pressed in though...
i had a BITCH of a time putting my spherical RTA bushing in last weekend. ended up having to make the bearing housing smaller on the grinder... ridiculous.

Im gonna grab some anti-seize and just start tightening things down.
I had a tough time with the RTA bearings too.. but If I ever do them again it will be a breeze. Live and Learn.
Pfff... I was in Texas last year in August and it was brutal. I dont know how you natives deal with that! Im all about warm weather but that was un-bearable! I may be visiting my sister in Pflugerville* again sometime soon. Ill be sure to let you know.
Check this out. A new part for an EF?! They say they only fit JDM bumpers... and the price is 150$ per side in Carbon Fiber.. 160$ for kevlar. 300$ for break ducts seems nutty..but I like the idea.
