Yeah i understand, BUT before touchign those old bolts i hit up a torch to make sure it pulls out. Drop the subframe and weld it back on.

Wow man, that looks awesome! I hope to order that roll bar soon, mind sharing who you went through? livermoreperformance?

I see you have the same problem I'm dreading. The holes left in the doors after changing to bar and harnesses's. wish there was a plug for it.. I know It can be welded shut or convert to 88 doors, but not with fresh paint already.

Thanks man. I got mine through www.safedrives.com. yea i hated having the empty belt holes there. I hardly notice the top belt hole, im more concerned with the one in the door panel. i was thinking about getting some 88-89 hatch door panels and seeing if they'll fit right. IDK if anyone has tried this yet or not.

Yeah, That hole sucks too.. Im 99% sure an 88 door card will fit.. The real problem is finding clean ones.. and in Si form with the cloth insert would be nice!
I have 88 door cards that are pealing on my beater, I should pop em' off and see if they work on the 91.. maybe some custom upholstery shop can get them looking OEM again. My 91 si cards are mint mint mint.. just sucks that they will look shitty with unnecessary holes and that junk at the bottom too! My only gripe with a 91.

Thanks again sir, my oem carpet was still in good shape, it was just an off black color. So I dyed it black using Rit Dye that you can get from walmart. i think i got about 8 boxes mixed it with hot water in a trashcan and let it soak overnight. I really like the polepositions, they fit me very well. im about 6'3" with a 32-34 inch waste and theyre perfect and soooo comfy lol. ive had some of my bigger friends sit in them and they seemed to be pretty comfortable as well.

before and after of the carpet for those who are thinking about trying it

after

Im using wedge engineering brackets, recaro sliders, and recaro side mounts. The only beef i have with my set up is how high i sit in them. If i were a little shorter i would be fine but my head nearly hits the roof. I havnt even tried to put a helmet on yet but i know it will probably be touching lol. Im thinking about just taking out the sliders and redoing the brackets to sit as low as possible.
