A Q for you guys with traction bars

Do they actually improve the car? ie remove wheel hop, etc.

also the d16a1 and CG tranny wont bolt directly in a 4g chassis.

In my case, with the Innovative, yes. With poly bushings wheel hop is gone. But, the hang-down removes any ideas of lowering.

i heard you cant swap in the a1 i might be wrong not worth it in my opinion since the dohc zc is more compatible withe 4g civic/crx chassis. i would sell it on 1gteg.org i think is the forum im not sure.

you can put 86-89 integra drivetrain in an EF...it was done years ago (the website is long gone though), some dudes made some custom mounts for it.

the cg is a VERY VERY strong trans too...like, rediculous. the engine is kinda stupid, a regular D is better in virtually every way (especially from a convenience standpoint...almost nothing exists aftermarket-wise for an A1

im learning more and more about the dohc zc since the new daily i purchased, had one in it. theyre definatly a breed all their own. little things like tune ups and timing belt and water pump replacement all use different parts from different usdm motors. but i guess thats what we have to do since they werent offered in the US.

Yeah I remember Kevin (Quickhonda) mistakenly bought a D16A1, and built it up, and turbocharged it, and had to build a funky bracket to make it work in his CRX, way back in the day. I'm talking like ten years ago.

I'll never forget Niagara 6, ripping around with Kevin, and the Canadian dude with the Gran Turismo stickered up CRX at the front of the drive portion of the meet. Flying through Canada with every one else behind us, burying the speedometer on the QEW, back when my KR-X had ZC #1. Good times. I think that was the last year that they had an official ride. I camped out hanging out with Kevin at many of the N meets. I was sad to see him leave the scene.
