I would be more concerned with not being able to check fluid levels

Check right behind the "pull tab" to make sure the cable is still mounted to the bracket. If so, check it at the latch itself. If it's still connected and good there as well, you probably need a new cable.

X100 on the same issue.

I always have to have someone push down on the front of my hood to get it to pop while I pull the release. haha!

I had all those same problems. Than I got a new cable and release handle and don't have a single problem. Its all the little things honda still has in stock that makes owning my crx more enjoyable.

Any of my EF brothers interested in some black Motegi track-lites (15x7, +35)? They're actually pretty nice FORGED wheels I've run as track wheels for a few years. Stepping up to 15x8 so they're outta here...but I'll sell 'em to someone here for cheap ...before I post on the classifieds.

I finally got my injector situation squared away. Here's a crappy iPhone pic of how it sits now. I'm heading out of town for several days this weekend so I won't be able to work on it this week.

Pretty much. It's a JDM D15B with Y8 manifold.

So why the Y8 manifold and not a Z6 manifold? Are you going to run a B16 throttle body?

From what I've read, the Y8 manifold is the type R of d series manifolds. I have a Z6 manifold that I'll be using to do a multi-point conversion on the beater

Adam (redzcstandardhatch) had the motor for sale, but it didn't have a manifold so he pieced one together for me. The Y8 was available and it's said to be slightly better. I haven't considered doing anything else with the TB. I just want to get her on the road at this point and I'll upgrade some things as I go. Is the B16 TB a popular upgrade?
