The price is really good, I didnt realize its only 225 after everything, which is about $75 cheaper than a Nasa event.
^Good pics^
Well, it looks like this.

I have been waiting on parts to come in. The car isnt registered so I can't drive street class. I havent researched the HPDE rules. The motor needs to be checked for clearances and tuned. I have a lot on my plate and as much as I'd like to make it, I'd rather not rush my build.

I have some more pics that I will go through and see if I like of your car teal. I dont know where I messed it up at.. but oh well it was so rad to be out there!
I've gone through the first 27 pages or so of that thread and seen quite a few, actually. Certainly the sedan turnout was much better than last year, which is unfortunate because I did not get to go.
there were quite a few out there, but about 90 percent of the people there dont care for ef's so they usually dont get as much picture coverage as the newer cars
My JDM D15B arrives Monday so the swap will start next week for the sedan. I've taken a few motors out knowing another one wasn't going in, but this will be my first time putting one back. Power steering is getting trashed so I'm going to swap the manual rack from the DX parts car in there. I'm debating on whether or not I should keep my a/c. It only blows semi-cool air and I really prefer the non-a/c look in the bay. I am also converting to 5 speed. I will probably be in here pretty often asking for advice trouble shooting.
This is okay by me, especially given the trends that are popular right now.
keep the ac. have it re charged.. its like, so cheap.
thank me later.
call me if you need anything! lemme know when you get the pallet

Good stuff Matt, I just threw away my auto-manual cover plate template just the other day other wise I'd have made one for you and sent it to ya. I'd also say keep the AC, I'm planning on doing tucked lines. also, the bracket that holds the shifter cable on the auto, cut it, have someone flat weld it closed to keep heat out. You might know what I mean once you start going at it. PM me if ya need anything bud.

Thanks, man. I figured after I got the swap running I'd swing by a muffler shop or something and have them weld me a plate on there to cover the old auto hole.
It's hard to believe it's almost been three years since I bought this sedan and I'm still running an auto DPFI. It's also hard to believe I'm somewhere near 15 Hondas in to this thing and I haven't done a swap, yet. An Si tranny with a brand new Exedy lightweight flywheel, stage 1 clutch and 50% more power should be a blast.
Thanks again for the shorter throttle cable.
