_Back to the EF stuff, sorry for the interruption.

Spent a couple days cleaning out my garage, moving stuff indoors for winter. I got a **** ton of old stock Crx stuff leftover. Didnt realize I had 10 crx si rims and 2 complete stock suspensions amongst tons of other stuff. May try and clean some of it up and sell it so I can get some new toys. So much space in my garage now for activities! Im thinking of building bunk beds...

 

I finally got my car back together. What a nightmare that was. I blew the head gasket and what I thought was the throwout bearing going bad.

This is my last semester of school (thank gawd) and have had the busiest couple of months ever. Student teaching is no walk in the park and have to be there like it's a full time job. Then with my job and gigging on top of it I have really no spare time. So needless to say getting to my car has been next to impossible.

Get the motor pulled, tear the head and tranny off, replace the head gasket, t-stat, and bought a new throwout bearing. Well the bearing was fine...it was the damn spring that had unclipped itself on one side. I guess I didn't waste money, but that wss $60 that I could have used eleswhere. :/

Last week we dropped the motor in then last night we got the wiring harness and all the fluids together and it started right up. Didn't have to mess with the timing at all and just kept an eye on the coolant.

I still need to adjust the clutch a bit though, but it feels sooooo good to have my car back after its been down for the last couple of months. She needs a good bath for sure...there is a thick layer of dust all over her. :/

i knew we should have replaced that damn headgasket at my house.

would could have ROCKED that ****. i bet we'd have had it done in an hour. maybe less.

Thanks...me too. Its almost 12:30 in the A.M. and I'm at work right now. As soon as I get the hell out of here I'm hitting the interstate and getting a few good pulls in. I NEED it. She has been sleeping waaaay to long.

 

we've got two weekends reserved at gingerman tentatively, with first refusal on both.

i've been talking to don from Import Alliance, and we are trying to NOT be on the same weekend again,like the last 3 or 4 years. last year we moved the date because of them, then they moved it again to our date. haha

once i get a date from them, we'll announce dates. it should be july 23/24 (or whatever that weekend is, i think thats it)

well progress on my car has came to a halt until i get out there o the shop. was going to start up my car and begin tuning it but when they went to pour radiator fluid in, it all began to leak out. apparently the dent i hammered out of it from when the car was in an accident caused a lot of holes to be made lol

we've gotten lots of people from all over the country, but we've never promoted it as an official EF meet.

it would RULE if a lot of you came.

you wouldnt be disapointed. we'll have coverage of this years event in Honda Tuning magazine too.

i can promise lots of pics of EFs if we make it the "official" meet.

Hahaa, Reys crx is one of my personal favorites, Used to shoot the **** with him a lot on here and on some Xbox live! Good guy, beautiful car. Not really on here anymore.. I like black hatch's too!

 

My gf just told me the other day she would love to road trip in my crx, what a better place to road trip to than this.
