That would be the way I would go, but this is just the beater. Putting in work like that is just going too far. Appreciate the offer.. and I dont know about shipping an entire roof!!

I know they make carbon fiber panels, plugs.. etc. My gripe is just that used panels are hard to find (not rusted) and the dealer wants around 200$ for just the panel itself. Im sure everyone has bought a cheap-o knock off fender or bumper in there day, was looking for a similar thing for the roof. may just need to buck up and buy a new one from the dealer... Has anyone ever herd of someone using a different model sunroof to fill the hole.. as in an old prelude or even a hatch, maybe a DA??

Appreciate all your guys input and advice with it.. probably wait it out until I find someone parting out a Crx Si model.

I bought a Fastline (FLP) shifter for my car, and while the shifter is nice, I don't think I would order one again because the benefits of the shifter do NOT outweigh the crappiness of Fastline / Heeltoe's customer service. Worst I have ever dealt with!

i agree. i paid for two day shipping and i got my shifter a week later. then when i called them they couldnt even find my order. luckily they had already sent it and it came the next day so i didnt have to deal with them anymore. it seems like they are a one man operation.

I think you got off easy! When I ordered, the website said in stock. So I placed my order, and then the next day I get an email that says something to the effect of, "Product is in the process of being bent and coated, should ship Friday." So I'm like, hmm, ok, no big deal, it will be a few days behind. I was leaving in just shy of 2 weeks for a month long trip to China, and I figured that if it shipped by the end of the week, it should make it in plenty of time.

Well, mid week rolls around, and I check their website and it says "Free shipping on all shifters," so I send an email asking if, because the shifter was not in stock when they said it would be, and it hadn't yet shipped, if they might be able to refund my $15ish in shipping fees.

So I get an email back from Marcus at Heeltoe saying "sure we would be happy to give you store credit." So I politely replied that money was pretty short at the time, and would it be at all possible to refund the money to my credit card? He replied with something like, "ehhhh, well I don't really have to give you any money back, so.... no."

Anyhow, a week passes (coming up on two weeks since I placed the order), and my shifter still hasn't shipped. I'm leaving for China in three days, and so I ask when this thing is going to ship. He says, they are still being bent and coated, and whether I still want the store credit. I tell him, "Keep the store credit, I'm never ordering from you again." The shifter finally arrived at my house for my girlfriend to collect almost a month after I ordered it.

Cliffs: Don't order from Heeltoe.

Lesson learned. Less bitching, more EFs -- a quick peek of my almost finished car (please excuse the cell phone pictures):

I would love that option, but there is no pick n pull's near me. A guy on here shipped me hood hinges he grabbed from a junkyard, maybe someone can do the same if they see a good condition crx sunroof, ill pay a little extra on top of course for whomever's troubles and shipping of course. Wish my local junkyards were a little more reasonable.

Not bad for a beater..

cant tell its missing a hood and sun roof tho...!

That is why I started this beater project.. my daily (2001 Prelude) was just being used too much and I would rather sell it and get some value out of it before it loses all of it! Also, I highly doubt that I will drive my other crx regularly on the streets, maybe a nice day drive on some of the nicer roads, but thats it besides track duty. Plus I missed driving an old Honda!

Nice, Never was into guns.. but just recently picked up a Mossberg 500. More of just a Home Protection thing.... you know since the Zombies are coming in 2012. Need to save some bucks for a pistol permit and than a pistol itself... for now Ill stick with the shotgun tho!

Yea I want a 9mm and a 12 gauge. Got two years to get them and stock up on ammo. On a side note, I really enjoy firing off a few clips at some targes now and again. It's fun!
