awesome to hear, as im sitting next to a set of PICS waiting to go on. i cant wait to get to work on the hatch. i need a hydro setup and ive heard bad things about suja1, so i think im going to look into making a similar bracket or pedal assembly.

No matter how much shock travel you restore on a lowered car, the rest of the car's suspension will run out of travel. You are taking inches out of the designed range of motion when you lower it. It might ride "comfy" on a street that is very smooth (even so, arent your spring rates a lot higher?), but hit anything non smooth at speed and its crap (i.e. suspension bottoms out, UCA hit the body, banging sounds as a result etc etc). You cant get rid of that on a slammed EF, its just not possible!!!

I feel a bunch of these claims of non harsh rides when slammed are simply bogus. I dont see why people dont want to admit it. We all drive EF's that are lowered, we know what goes on and what it generally feels like. You cant fool your own kind! haha. I think that everyone's definition of ride quality differs greatly, and thats the reason for the misunderstanding and confusion.

I completely agree with u fourthgen regarding limited suspension travel. I, personally, do think my setup is comfy tho after avoiding a few huge pot holes/bumps, it feels like a stock crx with firmer shocks... mind u I'm not running any sort of poly or spherical bushings; all mine are mostly oem.

I hear you man. My car rides completely smooth on my street too, but if I hop on the freeway or ride over semi sizeable bumps, its a whole nother story. IMO, bushings dont play as much of a role as ride height. I have ES bushings and a front crossmember with heim joints. I did not notice much change in 'feel' with the ES bushings, but maybe thats because my oem's were in decent shape prior to the swap. The crossmember that deleted the radius rod bushings made a huge difference, but it was a positive impact IMO. More stable and solid as a result of zero delfection.

Almost forgot, nice looking CRX.

Im pretty sure he arranges the right amount of packing peanuts in a box. You know... be efficient as not to waste peanuts, but still enough to safely transport the items.

thanx bud! and yah, the bar didn't work. the tow hooks lined up perfectly but i had to cut the arms that bolted up underneath the frame rails a bit shorter. i wasn't too sure if a DA bar would've worked better but I figured i'd run an EF one to see. no one I know could confirm if my frame rails were the exact same dimensions as a DA.

NA, ur car looks much better now. really diggin' the smoked amber

Definitely a time killer playing COD. The time that used to go into my car before it got too cold now goes into video games... played about 6 hours last night with Reynard.. good games. good killing.

I'm a little behind the times, but I recently started playing COD World at War online, and I must say, it's extremely addictive.

I played Halo 1,2 and 3. Only games I owned for Xbox... untill 2days ago. MW2 is pretty insane.. graphics are sick... and I cant help but stare at my new 40inch samsung for hours. Its only a winter thing though.. cold weather hibernation status, havent even shaved in about a month!

Still tear up the old ps2 need for speed every now and then..

EF related: Reynard- Are those the Flex-a-lite rear quarter windows?
