The Official EF Discussion Thread
Everyone business has at least one instance of giving bad customer service, that's can't be. Like me and Rywire. I’ll never order from them again, but everyone else seems to have had a good experience with them.
Yo.
man, ive been trying to get ahold of rywire for about a week now. i left a message and have called three times during business hours. if they werent local to me, i would have given up on them and went through someone else.
He was pretty slow to respond to me as well, but having met him and heard nothing but good about the quality of his work, I have given him the benefit of the doubt. I know he is a busy guy.
My build thread incase anyone is interested...

Any of you ever had trouble getting an axle to lock into the hub splines? Last night while putting my new advance auto parts axles in, the passenger one seemed a little short. I had to really stretch and push it while turning the axle nut to get the splines to lock together. I then tightened the nut to spec. It didn't make any noise or anything on the 1 mile test drive around the block but today it's making a sound that seems to me like the splines are turning against each other. Any ideas? Should I take it back for another one? I'm gonna check it out a little closer Saturday morning.

Dude...axles from parts stores are hit or miss. Sometime people return an axle that isn't what they say it is. Say I need a new passenger side DA axle, but don't have one for core...so I turn in a DC axle I have laying around. Know what I mean? I'd return it and try your luck again.
I think I understand what you're trying to say here. Its hard to please 100% of your customers and a few will always get left behind. I guess its just the way it is.

That's terrible. Makes me nervous to eventually get married. I think I found the right one though. She thinks me workin on cars is hot. She even said she would rather be there watching me and learning how to do things. She already knows how to change her own oil. :woot:
she even went to a pull a part with me and handed me tools and yanked a few things for me. It was great!

I can only imagine. We've been on the verge, well...atleast discussed it a time or two during some huge fights. I break down just thinking about how painful that would be. I've been married almost five years and no one ever told me how hard it would be. It takes an incredible amount of work and sacrifice for things to go well.

I hear ya. I have this really annoying habit of learning everything the hard way. Thankfully, though, in the last year I've put some things into practice that have helped immensely. It's amazing how things can go sideways really fast and it's amazing how you get more out of it with the more you put into it. I've found that the less selfish I am, the better the relationship. Too bad that's easier said than done.
On an EF related note, I am wondering if the hatch headliner is the same as the sedan headliner. The only reason I suspect it could possibly be the same is that the sideskirts from an EF9 fit the sedan perfectly. I was thinking perhaps the headliner is the same size. I'd like to do that spare hatch one in the garage in another fabric so I would be able to swap them out from time to time.
This is some fabric I got from Australia. I wanted something rather off-the-wall, but I'd also like to have something that jives with the blue interior.

i've always wanted to do my headliner, but i usually think about it while my car is inoperable. on a side note, just ordered Go-Autoworks intercooler piping and down pipe
Sedan Part No.: 83200-SH1-A00ZD
Hatch Part No.: 83200-SH3-A10ZA
I think the last two digits are color so that won't matter. Are the first five all I care about?

On an EF related note, I got invited back for FF challenge and I'm going to make sure I'm there this year. Especially since this year I will drive my own damn car!
