I dont think mine was ever wrecked, bought it with less than 80k, fenders still had tags and didnt see any sign of welding on a new front support.. there is a chance that someone replaced the bumper so maybe a slow roll accident, that was just enough to push that front lower support in a hair.. Your 100%correct though, any "tap" of an accident is gonna tweak something.. and some of these EF's have been through it all after 20years.

I'm new to Honda's.I just got a 88 sedan and the speedometer isn't working, there's a random cable hanging in the engine bay and i think it might be it. would it plug into the top of tranny? or if anyone has a picture of one. Thanks!

It could be that someone pulled into or over a parking block. That was the case with my parts car. All sorts of evidence under there.

I go through that same dilemma everyday myself and I only have one kid and work 50 hours a week. Car doesn't run like it supposed to sometimes. Wife tells me its just taking up space and to sell it. I tell her its virtually costing me nothing to maintain the car why would I sell it.

Current girl may be a keeper, she let me use her truck to tow the beater home... and I think she has a garage fetish!

most of the women meaning gf's have loved my car! but my ex wife not so much! when a woman does not bitch on a hot summer day without a/c and she doesnt whine about her hair getting messed up is truly a keeper in my book.

Its the old school affect.

Im just not a bike guy.. no where to ride around here, streets are too crowded. Plus the loss of one of my closest friends due to a truck blowing a red light while he was riding makes me never want to get on a bike. My father was a harley guy and even built some custom bikes.. I respect them and the craft of building them, but if I ever own one it would probably be the center piece of my living room or something!

On an EF note.. just yanked my wrecked windshield out and removed all the 20year old glue in there... removed the hinges and that mess of seam sealer to re-do it... almost thinking I should just REALLY paint this car now, the rattle can job doesnt do it justice anymore. I NEED A CRX sunroof ASAP as well!

God for some reason I cannot find the main fuse in its normal location!!!! (under the dash/steering wheel.) Having problems getting the fuel pump to kick on in a crx I let sit for close to a year. Did they move the main fuse in some of the later crx's?
