I replied to your message last time you posted it. Go back a page or two.

I also have a 30g with a male flowerhorn, he is sick right now...i hope he makes a comeback

Yep I use pressurized co2 because the diy stuff is so inconsistent that it just causes big algae breakouts in my 20g cuz of the high light. I also use fertilizers in my tanks
I promise next time I post pictures it will be of the ED
Vacation coming up and I'll have some free time to sit Indian style in the garage a ponder its awakening

Is there an advantage or disadvantage to running tires tht are too wide for the rim? Like, my stock wheel recommends 185's but I run 195's. Does the "bubbled" sidewall decrease steering response and cornering ability and cause the tire to roll more??
An advantage is more surface area of the tire on the pavement, thus more traction, and at the same time you aren't adding additonal weight by adding a wider wheel. I think steering response and cornering ability depends on the height of the sidewall. With a shorter sidewall, I would think there is less "roll" and things are effected less. With a taller sidewall, response and cornering ability would be adversely effected. That's my simple, logical approach to your question, but I am certainly no expert and I could be wrong (it has happened before).
Your corect about the extra rubber. Honestly you should easily be able to get away with 10mm oversize(some tires run wider or thinner than their listed width anyways). What you are losing in having a tire run wide on the rim, is some transient response. Because the sidewall is already deformed, it may make the tire a bit floaty. Honestly though unless your running really wide or very high performance tires you prob won't notice a diff. See above pictures of my car for refrence lol
