That's right...the 15x7's were 11.xx lbs. Either way, they are an inch wider so it's natural they'd be a bit heavier. Another wheel I've considered is the Enkei PF01. They come in 15x8 as well. Not as "tough" looking, but probably an outstanding wheel. I believe they're about $200/wheel as well.
would love to have these wheels.
and i didnt think the pf01's were that cheap. damn, im going to have to look into those. the engineering weights are like 12.8 but i wonder if its lightened up any.
and i got my new hatch home today. 90-91 doors will not work on 88-89, not that anyone would want to swap. noticeable weight difference. im pretty sure it works vice versa, just have to make a new seal. they seat differently.
edit: I'm in love.

Hahaa, Sounds tempting but I dont even know if there selling them anymore. If the idea of selling it crosses my mind you got first dibs. I should have came and checked out your shop and introduced myself when I was in the Southern California area.
I really like everything about those 949 wheels, I went with RPF1's simply b/c they fit without flaring the fenders. If I could do it again I would have flared the fenders before painting the car and went with the 949's...

looks good joe, now the fun begins.
Anyone have a Quick release hub? I was thinking of ditching my momo for a nrg slim hub and 2.5 qr. Its a pita pulling the ecu everytime i goto lab and i figure this is a quicker theft deterrent. (mind you this is buffalo ny)

Any chance of getting those back?
Looks like you have owned almost every Honda.. Didnt you have a ridgeline with the old crx? I like the Element..
i know where they both went and have an idea of where they are now. i dont want another k-series project. i'm keeping this a budget build. when something breaks, it'll be cheap to replace.
groundcontrol/koni
si or da brakes w/ good pads, brakelines, and fluid
si front and rear sway bars
autopower roll bar
sparco speed seats, harnesses
949 racing wheels and hankook rs3 tires
fairly stock OBD1 B16
and that's all i really want/need to have fun going around on these so cal tracks.
if i stick to a budget, i know i'll use the car. high dollar or bling parts will just sit in the garage like the last money pit. i'm not building the car for other people like i did with my last crx. im building this one for me.

Damn I was bedding my race pads last night and sparks were shooting out..craziest **** I've seen in a while(3300lb car with 275 r-comps and crazy pads= super high temps)
yeah, LSD is a high priority. i might even convert to hydro if i cant find a cable trans. and i've been rethinking front sway bar too. but i have noticed this DX steering rack feels a lot different than my old SI. bushings is a given, but i'll just buy them here at work.

That's the setup I have. I love it. PM me with your zip and I'll get you a price for the slim hub and QR.
yah whats the deal with road race gear? are they still in business? their website is MIA. Pretty pissed ive wanted an air dam from them for awile and i was actually gonna get one this year
i think i remember the hardware and brackets they use. i'm gonna save myself a few bucks and make my own.
