The terminal clams on the battery are fine. i jumped the car from the starter and pos wire of the battery and started right up. It does click and the lights don't dim. Does anyone know which wire the signal wire comes from on the ecu? or where it goes? I can't seem to find it on the helms.

All the symptoms of a bad ignition switch. IIRC signal wire comes from the ignition switch. Next chance I get I'll look it up to be certain.

its the switch for sure. you can always just make your own wire for it and wire it up to a button.

Alright thanks man, I can't seem to find out where the wire leads to and can't find it in the manual. I would really appreciate it. I never heard of anyone with this problem. My car was working fine before I started to check for a short I was having. And I couldn't figure out what was wrong since it was working before. I would think that it would give me a little more warning before just not working at all.

I thought about that but then i wouldn't want anyone just running my car with a push of a button. Plus i don't know how many amps the ignition runs off of so I would need a strong enough push button to handle the current/amperage.

Thanks for your help guys

The key would still need to be in and at the on position. The switch would just be to the starter and a 12v supply. I did it for my friends car.

That's way overkill unless I misunderstood and you're building the motor. What they said though, check the all motor section. I'm planning on running pro3's on a fully built motor with 650's

You won't have enough compression with those cams on a stock bottom end. I wouldn't go less than a 12:1 CR piston. 310's are normally a safe bet for most all motor setups. B series at least.

Also anyone have a trick on cleaning a 91 civics engine bay i did a lot of work to get car operational and just want it to look clean now and don't want to mess up a lot of electrical stuff but with pressure washer any tip/tricks?

about to pull the trusty debit card out and buy some 15x8 949 racing wheels for the new track beater... what do you think?

they're cheaper than RPF1s, have 2 valve stems for nitrogen fills, are 1" wider, and can get lightweight lug nuts for LESS money. does anyone know how much they weigh? that might be the kicker... if RPF1s are a lot lighter... i'll stick it out with them.

Joe- Go with 949's...roll the **** outta the fenders and run -3.2 camber all around. The 949's are 11.xx lbs. and totally worth it. Cheaper than RPF1's too. I run their lug nuts as well. Cheap and light. F*ck...I love 949's stuff.

Ninja Edit: Just noticed 949 finally has some wheels in stock. Silver that is. Black is on pre-order. What do you think? Black or Silver? Thoughts anyone?
