So what's the benefit of using EK or DC folks anyway?

Not a ton of EF love, but here is what I found from WekFest...

went to the junkyard today. new pull-a-part just opened and almost every honda/acura was untouched. wagovans, 88-91 4-door civics, crx with full black interior, eg's, dc's, da's...all untouched. still had distributors and factory wheels on them. scions and vw's with factory wheels on them. wish i needed something more than a bolt lol

so how much + camber did it add and can you add anymore with the skunk 2 arms. what im saying i guess is do you screw yourself by using them cause you have to add - to get back to zero, so therefore you have no more room to go negative?

Sounds like a proverbial Garden of Eden. If you call around to the yards in my area asking for EF parts they literally laugh at you.

I'm looking for a parts car. Specifically, I need most of the front driver side suspension and I'd like to get one that is a 5 speed so I can convert mine. I know that '88s are different than '89-91 in a lot of ways, including the suspension.

1) Will the front driver side suspension from this '88 work on my '91?

2) This car has a SOHC vtec motor with a 5 speed, he says (from talking to him it sounds like he put a vtec head on it and made it MPFI), and he wants $350. Worth it as a part out project?

Yeah, but u need all 88 flywheels and clutch for that conversion (i would do it) i would convert to obd1 and run a p28. To my best knowledge the suspension is the same so it should work.

I think he said it is OBD1. He was rather vague and it didn't sound like he knew a lot about it. If I can be sure the suspension will work it's probably worth while just for that. I can sell the rest of the car in pieces via HT and make all my money back pretty quick.

I have a problem tearing mine apart because it runs perfectly. Plus, I am leary of this kids work. I don't know what I'm getting as far as quality of parts. I'd like to part the hatch out, save the cash and find a legitimate swap that will be worthwhile. If I'm going to spend all the time and energy swapping stuff out, I'd like it to be all for more than 10-15hp.

not sure how long that stuff is going to be there, but the good news is that they only had 1/2 of the import cars out
