no.

coilovers were meant for lowered applications, so spending more money on quality parts improves ride quality.

reason for bounce is blown shocks, reason for bottoming out feeling is UCA hitting chassis, reason for stiffness is springs.

Haha. Yea some shoes are outrageous. The only flashy pair of shoes I have is a pair of slip ons with candy skulls.

In other news, was planning on autocrossing this morning...didnt happen. Started the car up after loading everything up, made it down the driveway and it stalled, figured it was because it was cold.

Not the case. After about 45mins to an hour of diagnosing, found the dist rotor took a ****, as well as some of the guts. Had a spare and went to swap everything over and found the spare was no good. Broke down and bought a new dist and wasnt able to make it to the autocross.

Unless you have shortened shocks as in the koni yellows, and maybe others, than your going to have less travel and the piston will start bottoming inside the shock as well, if not bottom out it will slowly destroy the seals from excessive pressure. Riding to low on any shock is no good, unless the shock body itself is shortened to compensate for the lowering, or you have extended top hats. Plus the reason for stiffness is not always springs, while springs are a big part of the stiffness, shocks contribute a big part too.

http://redshiftmotorsports.com/RedSh...ne%20Store.htm

You can find shortened front shocks here, stock length rear. My buddy had them on his sts auto-x ef and the highest the shock would go is about where pixie's car is at now. But at roughly $1200 a set, its alot of money to lower a car that much correctly. The ride is **** even while tucking some tire and kickin corner ***.

As for the "dumped" comment, I didn't mean the car is dumped, it's just been lowered a lot from where it used to be. Remember? 4 inch wheel gap?

And if it went any lower, the muffler would be on the ground, and the wheel wouldn't turn all the way without rubbing immensely.

What it comes down to is, it's not your car, it's Pixie's car. And from what I can tell, it's exactly the way she wants it. She's building it for herself, not some audience. She actually wants her car to stand out a little. Not look like every other EF out there with a red pinstripe and a stock emblem. And from what she's told me her plans are, this is only the beginning. So you guys better be ready to hate for awhile.
not for an audience eh? youre the one that said comments welcome! and i gave you mine. you must remember not everybody is gonna like the car but its all good tho as long as the young lady likes it then thats all that matters. thats one big reason i dont post my car or better yet feel the need to post it. as long as each individual likes his or her own car thats all that matters.

I was just being real. It's perfectly fine if no one like her car. It doesn't really matter to me either way. I love it and my opinion won't sway so....I'll say it again. Thank you for the feedback. No animosity intended.
