black mounts were worth the price,
and as for the ecu,im not familiar with obd0 but i googled it and that looks right.
external Eprom(the one with 93 on it)

 

I like my black mounts b.c they dont pop out at you like the polished. Also, I bought them about a year or two ago when they were "limited" now they seem to be everywhere.

On the ECU. Thats what I was looking at too.. (the spot with the 93) Only ECU i can compare it to are ones online, but not all obd0 ecu's look the same inside. I think its all un-molested.. Just not sure if that is the only spot that is modified when chipping. Sorry, Im just terrible with Computer boards and related stuff.

 

Mine is basically just socketed and ready for datalogging. You can't use the chip I have in it since it is for my old turbo b16...I'll post a pic later

 

Hahaa.. I really gotta step my ECU game up.. I feel so lost with this. All I know is that My current "spoon" Ecu looks like a lego piece glued on inside! I just want a stock ECU to go with my stock Motor...

 

If you pull the chip out of an ecu, it just reverts back to the oem programming.

 

I know on the p28 ecu that if you remove the jumper, it will go back to stock programing and you wouldn't need to remove the chip. Maybe if you remove the chip and didn't remove the jumper the ecu wouldn't work? just a thought.

The stock ECU I have is a PW0.. I hear the PR3 is a little better. not sure the exact reasons though.

600 shipped for a set sounds off. Sucks you cant sit in the seats prior to ordering them, and if you could I would suggest it.
