I know I can search for these answers... but call me lazy. im sure some of you guys may know off the top of your head. just put my daily together, a obd0 jdm b16 in a 88 crx si... couple things im held up on. not huge.

-Does anyone know where I can find a diagram for the vacuum lines? idle is a little rough.

-whats the best way of setting up the speedometer? as i look from my single, to my jdm b16 to my jdm gsr.. there all different. can I just use my single cable and pop out the sensor on the single trans? the speed sensor on the b16 now has two lines coming off it...

Thanks for the help.. Ill post some pics tomorrow now that shes a little more respectable.

solid tight bushings doent always work better for drag strip use. thats the main reason the front of my car has new OEM bushings, and the rear has spherical ball bearings. a big of "give", can equal a bit of extra life in axles, and a better planting of slicks...sometimes.

i cut 1.7s, but i have a few new plans for next year, and with seat time , WANT 1.5's

My dude!!!!!, very nice machine!!,

Do you happen to know this!!!!

My 93´Honda civic SI, (167,000 kilometers) engine (D16A92100236) consumes a lot of gas about 25 kilometers per gallon (kpg), it used to be around 45 kpg. Some day two (2) moths ago when returning from a 4 hour trip thru a highway the check engine light remained on and never got off. This one was an IAC problem, after the Mechanic repaired it, all mornings the engine idles too high at 1500 rpm, after 30 minutes of running the idle finally lowers to 500 rpm. (That time is very long)
U think that I should change the IAC, as it could be the source of the high gas consumption in my Honda?, I took it to another mechanics and I explained to him the whole story, he said back that the IAC is working properly and instead I should replace the FIT valve and the thermostat, this is how I would be able to improve my Honda´s gas fuel consumption. Any other ideas how to encounter the source of the problem?

So I got to take my daily b16 rex for a test drive yesterday runs good, but i think the ecu has to go. its got a "spoon" chip thats making vtec hit at 3500 and feels a little boggy. whats a better obd0 ecu? pw0? or pr3? not sure the real difference.

sucks that i cant drive for a couple days, had a bone spur removed from my right shoulder today.

yea, i appreciate it. my manifold is different though, i got them set up though to what i think is right and makes it idle and run best. i think i need to change the pcv valve between the runners on the IM. i hear it making some noise... also thinking of getting some new oem replacement fuel injectors (seen and herd of way too many blown motors due to an old/clogged injector), will b18c injectors fit?

got a lot of bugs to fix up due to the previous owners lack of repairs or poor parts.

yet to install my RRG lip/splitter. some rivets and aluminum could make a decent replica. i have a stock lip off a 91crx si as well... ill let u know if i think of selling either.

carfax is a rip off imo. should be free thru insurance companys.. and how do you know if everything was actually reported?

YOu don't. My old '98 coupe had ish on the carfax that didn't show up when I bought it, but when I turned around to sell it, the accident from the previous owner wa son there. I had a feeling it was in a small front end collision

Hot Sauce: When do we get to see pics of the daily beater? I need to post pics of my wagovan.

Foldgers: that hatch looks HARD.

jrsc90DX: You have a really nice foundation. Not sure if you bought it with the headlights and big wheels, but with a few changes, that could be a nice hatch.

.
ask and you shall receive..
Okay I bought the car 2 weeks ago knowing I needed to fix her up before the shoulder surgery I just had.
Replaced head studs with arp kit and oem headgasket, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, thermostat, exedy stage 1 clutch, resurfaced flywheel, new clutch cable, fuel filter, removed Evaporator and swapped out old climate control to get heat working again. Did a couple other things... shes not finished by any means, I have an intake that i fabbed up but just wanted to repaint it. plan to swap out the ecu, not sure what route to go b/c its an obd0 b16. gonna see if the old(good condition) injectors from my b18c will fit in the oem manifold.

It has tein SS coilovers, some no name LCA and toe adjusters, needs some suspension work and bushing replacement... and a paint job, but im not worried about the looks just yet. heres what i got done in the 2 weeks... Now im stuck in bed wrapped up like pillow. Let me know what you think.. please keep in mind this is just a daily and i picked it up for fairly cheap...
on to some pics..

how the bay looked when I got it home..

Now..

and here she is just sitting in primer.. I have all the lights just took them out while i was fixing some stuff and painting the bay. she needs some love.. may just get a rattle can job!

Please dont think this is my normal work.. this was a 2week thing with spare parts and minimal time. My other crx is a totally different level than this.

I plan on doing that, cause finding a lip in good condition has been hard. I saw project car make one for their Sentra time attack and I thought it looks good. I plan to pick up some aluminum and materials this weekend for one, Ill post a DIY if it turns out good.
