The Official EF Discussion Thread
3k is way to much in my opinion. i wouldnt pay more than 2k for it. none of my crx's or ef's have been over 1500. i probably wont get it, cause i still have my crx i bought from Mr_CRX to finish. and summers a' coming
Tell me about it, Ive been dealing with nothing but time wasters lately.
vega, is it me or is your front end very closed off? Looks like with the added turn signal strip you are cutting down on the air flow to the radiator.
I always thought my car looked like a storm trooper
and recently I found out a local go kart track that sometimes holds track days for any cars and they pretty much just require a helmet to participate .
Im extremely hooked but right now Im just studying and not working , and my current suspension setup is pretty bad . its a 91 hb si , b16a swap with a/c full interior , Eibach pro kit (stock application) and stock kyb gr2s , its too soft and bottoms out easily , I hate it but cant afford anything else at the moment . I know that if I run it like that Im gonna get lots and lots of body roll and understeering .
most people say you should start with what you got .... what do you guys think ? Should I go to start getting to know the track and the basics ??
thats great that you are planning to track the car , that's my goal too

I have the same shock and I know what you mean. I plan on using them for now.
I think you can sort of fix that with a front sway bar if you don't already have one.
I also hear start off with that you have. You have to figure out how you car works before you start upgrading. You don't want to get anything you don't need.
Street tires for now as well.
I would start off with a front and rear sway bar. Run whatever suspension you have. And go from there.
madman, take off your left tail ight and drill some holes in the bottom of it. I had to do it a few weeks ago. Mine was like 3/4 full of water. On the bottom of the light there are indentations that are 'made' for the holes. Keeps water from pooling up inside wonderfully!...Unless you know how to pull it apart and reseal it.
