glass is aftermarket. I've never seen an OEM glass sunroof on a crx...My old 89 dx had a glass sunroof, but it was aftermarket. If any of them came with a sunroof, don't you think parts for it would be in the honda catalog?

ive seen ALOT of crx with those sunroofs. I doubt people just installed them. Esp since back in the day they where pricey and not to mention if they wanted aftermarket, i dont think the si was a huge upgrade

Here's mine...Mine has the datalogging connector at CN3, a couple extra resistors on the left side(I think because the case is marked AT, it might have something to do with being auto), and the obvious new chip at the lower right side.

I dunno man. They might have been an option, but why isn't it listed in the parts catalog? I'm failry sure mine wasn't OEM. It had some pieces broken and didn't seal worth a ****.

my buddy had a DX with a glass moon roof, and it couldn't have been factory. The headliner was all sorts of wrinkled trying to fit it in there. And if I remember correctly Ryan's DX with moon roof was hacked up, and that's why he did the roof swap.

I thought it was common knowledge that the only CRX available with a sunroof was the si?

then why is it only dx with a pop up. There are an alarming number of dx with pop up roofs. Never ever see an hf. Its just strange. Ive honestly seen 10+ crx dx with a pop up.

way to hard to tell if its a pop up or sliding one...

maybe it was only hatch's that the dx was without a moon roof?

I may be wrong here.. but that is not a DX. It has to be an Si.. rear wiper, painted bumpers, and the roof is not glass its metal.. but it slides open.

That car looks like a great deal mainly b/c of the no-rust but i would go over the car good to make sure theres no cover up's. let us know how it goes. I would buy it if I was close to it!

Thanks man, I got the pr3 off ebay at a steal under 40$... lets just hope it shows up *fingers crossed*

Also just picked up some other EF parts, New-ish headliner, 88 seat rails, and 5speed pedal assembly just b/c it was all a good deal.
Watched a yakima bike rack slip between my fingers at the last second.. damb ebay lurkers waiting to outbid ya!

got some good news today...everyone kept telling me i need to up grade my valve springs and retainers to use the BC Spec 3+ cams. read where some people have said that the ITR/CTR valve train is ok to use, so i check Crowers website and their stage 1 cam and stage 2 cams will work with ITR/CTR cams. So i emailed BC and they said my stock springs will be fine with those cams

I know for a fact the the Si rear disks were an option. Some have them, some don't. As for the sunroof debate, i'm at a loss...

Never heard of them being an "option", I think the 90-91's came with them. Anyone wanna confirm?

Also thought sunroofs was an Si thing only, unless an aftermarket one was added.

Im 100% sure that rear discs are stock on 91 Si CRX's (not hatch's though)
Im also positive that Si's only have power roofs, no sure what is factory on dx or hf though.

Im pretty sure most of this is clear by now.. these cars have been around for over 20 years!

I've seen 88 and 89 Si with rear drums, but never a 91. I'm pretty sure the 91's came with rear discs. All crx Si's, 88-91 came with the power roof. DX and HF are solid roof.

x100. The only reason people see dx's with pop up moon-roofs is because that was a HUGE fad in the late 80's, early 90's. Am I dating myself? I'm not that old...

And hey, anyone wanna come over and help me assemble my 4-post lift. Being in a new city with no friends sucks Haha.

Sick that you got a lift going up.. sucks that no ones around to help out.
If you dont mind me asking.. whered you move to?
I have a friend that lives in San Diego (Escondido) He just bought a house but wont share the 2 car garage so my attempt of moving to Cali is halted until I find a new place or get him to share!
I have to leave this NY freezing weather.. ever lay on a cement garage floor when its 30 degree's outside?!

I figured a 3 car garage wasn't enough...I need 4 spaces. Haha, not really. I'll post pics soon.

I live just north of Sacramento in a town called Roseville. I'll be laying on my garage floor tonight (since lift isn't set-up yet), but I always have a space heater right next to me since I'm a puss.

ninja edit: Have you guys seen this video? http://wagonattack.com/ Cool ****! I need to go flog my rt4wd!!!
