Did I get it from you or something?? Were we talking about it when I was at your house?? From the best of my knowledge it was based off random people attempting to do close, my need for space for the rbc, and the fact that I cant stand my old setup!!

I just got rear ended in the HF. I hope they still make bumpers, and bumper supports, or at least have them available.

Not on my car. The only aftermarket body panels I will put on my car must read "Mugen Power" on the underside. I am done with aftermarket parts that fit like crap. I am glad now that my other car isn't finished. I would of killed if that lady turned my Mugen bumper into popcorn. I am seriously considering not driving that car on the street anymore now. All it takes is 1 sec of someone screwing up.

A hot rodder was telling me how hard it was to do carbon kevlar because the epoxies used didn't want to bond well with it.

Member Aristro does kevlar stuff... ive been talking with him, he would be in to help us out but we would need a couple people. and we would need a metal mold to start with, i have a jdm metal hood and OEM hood id be willing to donate to the cause. he can make jdm or OEM, we just need to get him a mold.

WHo is really interested in a kevlar JDM or OEM hood... im even trying to get the SIR style hood.(fits usdm, looks jdm)

At the very least I was considering a series of louvers to an OEM hood or a 85ish 300z mini hood scoop. I would like to keep inderhood as kool as possible and if I can, shorten the intake track as well.

So we'll see, I have a lot more pieces I'll need to get now. MOE - I want those flares, lol!!

ME

I was actually going to just lay a kevlar sheet over my metal hood to save the time, money and effort of going through all that.
but if someone can really make one Im down
but the weave needs to be perfect for my show car

I think this winter i will be hunting down a hot rod shop and having them "punch" louvers in the hood. The prices are pretty reasonable, about 1.50$ a louver

oh btw, tube frame crx

Yes louvering a hood is very cheap and can be done nicely. Two things I like.
