The Official EF Discussion Thread
The hole goes right through... the rear of the car is going to be stripped... you will never see a fuel or brake line back there....you will only see the harness (in the areas i want you to see it, and trust me, you will want to see it).

I'm about to go out and get some nuts, bolts and spacers (or a bunch of washers), to bolt the stock sway onto the Function 7 lca's. I didn't notice the difference of the sway bar mounting points till I started taking the lca's off.

Yup, only drawback... lots of leak possibilities. I have a rigid flare tool, and it has not made a noticable bad flare yet
EDIT LOL at everyones replies

alright, i finally made a flickr account...
in my quest for the best street car i can build out of my civic, and making it as cheap as i can, i put wider wheels/street tires on it. the tires are sumitomo HTR200s, some nice all around summer performance tires i've used before, decent for straight line traction, and great for little turning action too .
13x8 diamond racing wheels, and i might paint them black, not sure yet.
yeah, i know they are different...kinda why i like em!

Tried restoring my carbon fiber hood this afternoon. I think what I did will be good for a while but I still want to buy a carbon kevlar hood if we ever get a group buy going.
Here's what it looked like to begin with:

Here's all the stuff I used:

Started on this corner first:

During wetsanding:

After I rinsed off the dirty sand water. Look how shiny it is!

After I dried the water off

Turtle Wax Rubbing Compund to the rescue!

Taking off the rubbing compound was a BITCH because it would dry out immediately after applying it.

After that I used Meguiar's Carnauba wax:

Here's the finished product:

I know it's STILL not very shiny or anything but it's DEFENITLEY better than what I started with:

After I finished that little part I decided to finish the passenger's side of the hood off and see what it looked like:

Still not SUPER shiny, but it's a good start. I think I'm gonna buy a sanding block though for the rest of the hood since it'll make it a helluva lot more even. I'm also gonna try getting a buffer and use some of that 3M Marine polish/wax and see what that does.

looks good but i think after that wax melts off/dries it'll look like it did before. you should sand it smooth and have it recleared.
or do what i did.... paint over it! haha
