Cant recall how to tell the difference but I just did a DA rear disc swap on an 89 hatch and it threw the rims out a tick.

I would source 90-91 crx si rear discs if you can. Its what I did.

well im buying rear discs from some one online. but i feel like someone could easily sell me DA trailing arms thinking that it won't make a difference to me. that's why i was looking for some sort of marking or something. i should have some info in the coming weeks about this issue.

did you put a boot on the wheel?

the cluster swap was confusing for the two wires for 6 & 7 in the pic below.

i think i put the black/red one in the 4th position from the left

I don't want to start this argument again, but seriously...I run DC rta's and so does Ryan and we have 0 issues with wheel rub. I didn't notice a difference in offset at all.

Maybe we're just lucky?

think it might have been a rumor stirred up back in the day. someone was prolly talking about the supposed height difference between the front knuckles (DA to EF) and somebody got confused....IDK ive ran both and they fine with conservative wheels.

here in california, you would be considered pretty high

do you angle the car when you go over bumper or go straight on??

I think I'm a finger lower then you and I have never scrapped my header, to the point of it cracking or anything

Rumor or not, its straight up true when installing DA trailing arms on an EF. I have noticed it first hand on more than 1 occasion and Wes V even measured. Take a look on his site, the info is probably in there somewhere.

My latest install for DA rear arms on an EF hatch was this past weekend. I warned the customer about it and sure enough he noticed it when he came to pick up the car. Gotta love rumors...

The front DA knuckle install on the same car went smoothly, and as expected no changes were noticed by the naked eye.

If anyone challenges this fact, please make sure you are referring to DA ta's on an EF.

BLUCIVIC: You can see P72 stamped on the pan in your picture. Thats a 1.8L pan, which makes sense since the b16b is based off a 1.8L block, not 1.6L. Common misconception.
