fyi: haven't installed it yet, just had a photo of it from the seller. Trying to think up what I'll do with the hazard light, low fuel light and ALB light. They're leftovers and mine's an 89 chassis. You 9091 kids got it easy.

Does the hatch's cat have a triangle shaped flange or what? I'm trying to figure out why this thing didn't bolt up as expected. Either way, I'm going to have to get a new flange welded on tomorrow. yump

if it's a OEM cat it should have the two hole flange inlet and a three hole flange outlet

mine came the same way (currently takeing offers on full exhaust system FYI)

I had a photoshoot out of town today so the CRX finally went down the highway. While the super high strung tranny is fun, I'm still going to do the ls 5th thing. I miss that setup. Good thing is hydro ls 5th's are still available @ Acura.

Oh and up the car can go entirely too fast before it redlines in 5th. I wussed out around 130 or so. Kinda ran out of my USDM numbers.

What sucks is most of those off the shelf "jdm" cat-backs utilize small diameter 50mm'ish piping. True 2.5" is where its at for most common setups. K series and turbo guys, this doesnt include you, key word here being common! lol

Little did I know that SH2 and SH3 meant different things. Gauge cluster mounts from an SH3 were a hatchback not crx, so the crx hood won't fit snugly around the dash... oops. If anyone has SH2 cluster mounts LMK.

I got all the wiring done. I'm a bit befuddled on why I don't see the cluster light up. I jumped the dimmer switch per the instructions.

on left is 88-89 crx cluster mounts. on right is 90-91 hatchback. they're too tall for crx dash & 90-91 crx hood

I have the original japan to us shipping box, product box, packaging and of course the 5zigen wheel

yay now i can get a better estimate on when to shift

super low mileage too

as low as the header wants me to go

The header looks really good but fitment is crap.

i was wondering why everyone says that, cause all those one size fits all headers were made to fit the taller deck of the b18/b20, its just a coincidence that it also fits the b16 and therefore hangs a lil bit lower on those blocks/ as opposed to if it was a header fit to a crx with a b16. you either have to raise the engine up or raise the car up. Dont get me wrong i like em slammed, but it just aint gonna work.

my dad has a TDM tri-y on his Type-r swap in the EG hatch and its slammed. He only drags on drastic stuff.
