Thanks. A clean, white EF sedan is, literally, a dream come true.

The corners and bumper lights are done with smoked vinyl. It was pretty easy.

now i owe paypal the $240 for his $400 that he owed to me. PLUS paypal charged a $10 dispute/chargeback fee. im losing money because he didnt pick up his seats that are still sitting in the garage.

there are more details to this story, but im just venting right now.

a deposit is just that, a deposit until the balance is paid. i could have sold these back in sept but i was being the standup guy and holding them for him.
That really sucks about peewee. I am sure there is a reason or something....I hope.

I'm in no hurry. It's only got 118k and runs perfectly. I mostly just drive it to and from work anyway. When I have the time I might swap it, but with two small kids time is something I don't have much of.

I'd like to, if it can be done without removing any body panels. I'm too lazy to research it and find the parts for MPFI. If someone sold me the whole thing I might convert it.

I understand MPFI will enable me to pass people on the highway. Hmm, sounds luxurious.

I called HondaPartsDeals and they said the optional floor mats aren't available anymore. Is there someone on here that works for Honda who wouldn't mind checking the stock for me? I want the blue ones for a '91 Civic 4 door LX.

NA-all-the-way - Damn clean 4 door.

Joe - glad to see you're still around, sucks about scammers, but I am not suprised in todays global economy.

Madman - I'd love a VW notchback to do up as well, just a very simple car.

I've been just lurking for a littel bit, still driving the 92 gti, still have the 89 si in the garage. Just working on some stuff little by little, no major updates.

yeah, im still around. just been busy with my new baby girl.

i dont post much but i do read on here just to stay in the loop as to what builds are new and what parts are out there. i talk to a few buddies here and there. but for the most part, im concentrating on keeping my family happy and healthy.

about peewee, to clear things up... (its sort of EF related because he buys parts from EF guys)

i know ive had my fair share of problems with people on here, but this one is clearly not my fault.

back in sept/oct he wanted to buy my seats. he didnt have all of the money and said i didnt have to worry about shipping them because he was coming out here on oct 16th to pick up a crx. he assured me this would be an easy transaction because i told him i wanted to deal locally for less hassle.

oct 16th came and went and him and i talked a few times about it. the seats were technically his because he paid me $240 deposit out of the SMOKING deal i gave him for $400. (paid $700 for them and never mounted in the car) he claimed the seller of the crx was jerking him around and he would make it out eventually. which was not a problem for me.

around christmas was when i heard from him next. he went into my thread asking if i "found his money or seats", whatever that means.
i took pictures of the seats with the date and told him to pick them up. he wanted his money back. i told him no. the seats are his, he paid a deposit and a deposit is just that until the balance is paid. then he told me to ship the seats. which i replied i would if he set up the shipping, paid for the remainder and paid for the freight.

reasonable if you ask me or any seller.

i then found the perfect box for the seats and packed them in it. HUGE and taking up valuable space in my garage. i then moved the box to my storage unit which costs me $200 a month for. (note: i do have alot of my personal belongings in that storage but i was planning on doing away with it and bringing everything back to my garage.) i had to borrow a truck to get the huge box down there too. inconvenient but its what i had to do to store the seats that didnt belong to me anymore.

also very reasonable.

then my wife starts having a few delays with the baby and we were in the hospital for a while. keep in mind, peewee has my cell number, email address, and myspace link.
we come back home and my main concern is our new family, im not online or anything. when i do finally check my email... i see a chargeback from paypal for $240 and a separate fee for $10. COSTING ME MORE THAN HE PAID!!!
i check my H-T instant messages, email, myspace... NO messages from him. just a sneaky paypal dispute claiming that im a deadbeat seller. since i wasnt around to respond, he got 100% of his money back and paypal charged me for the judgement.

now i have a hold on my account which i use for everything from paying bills, buying car parts, sending money to my wife, my mother, my brother, and also receiving money from my family. all because this guy changed his mind on something he bought months ago and abandoned.

i dont know what you guys think, but i think its incredibly unfair and underhanded. ive been a stand-up seller for years with very few problems and when they did come up, i fixed them the best i could.

i dont get it, what can i do??? i need that money, and my account back. ...and now i have to do something about the seats!!
