Yes they were. To be honest...they weren't a bad tire. I just think everyone's skill level over-powered those poor tires. The first few laps were okay until they started getting greasy in the mid-90's heat. I think they'd be great for someone new to tracking who also needed a performance tire on the street. But for my money, I'd still buy Azenis or Hankook RS3's.

A guy was out from Ontario in an ITR so you've gotta come out now.

And "wearedaughters," thanks for the new wallpaper. That picture is AWESOME

Thanks man. The real props go to the fellas that spent hundreds of hours getting their cars up to the exceptional level they're at now. In comparison, I had the easy part.

i have a 90 civic lx, converted to 4 injector.
running pm6 ECU for a SOHC ZC ENGINE.
i keep getting code 20 and 1 (ELD AND O2)at the same time. and when the CEL's hit the car instantly runs like ***. and when i park the car the exaust smells like straight up fuel. im assuming this is from the 02 code forcing the injectors to run pig *** rich.
i also have a brand new NTK O2 i just put on a couple of weeks ago.
ive been looking for hours on google , and i literally found nothing.
the one thing i did see on the web is that my main fuse box under the hood supposedly has no ELD.and the only si's or EX's had them. and i need to change my 2 injector fuse box to a 4 injector.
the strange thing is if thats true, would i CONSTANTLY have a ELD code since theres no ELD??? i only throw this code every once in awhile. its not like it happens everyday. it will do it for a week, and not do it again for months. and it seems liek it does it on VERY hot days.
and where exactly is the ELD in the fuse box? can i see it physically in the box?
would it force O2 code as well?
thanks for any help!!!

prepping my car for paint and fabbed/test-fitted my new PCI-style side skirts. first basically appearance-only thing i've put on my car in years. gonna satin-black them like the moldings.

in this pic you can see my goofy exhaust tip i fabbed the other day. something about it is weird and awesome to me. painted pics in a few days!

Nice man, sticking to red I assume!?
Is it possible to make those side skirts functional by maybe putting some sort of a splitter under it? maybe a little extra down-force?! Could be totally off..
Getting the idea from this..

yeah, this pile will be there. its the only reason i'm painting with more track events coming up this year still (hopefully i will be a safe lil' boy and not kiss any more walls). chris and i will have it mildly stickered up to promote our track event/meet. WMHM.org. i'd love to break 1000 people through the gates next year (admission to the track is free, its not a money thing). july 21-22 next year!

putting a lip/splitter edge on them kinda does seem awesome, and terrible. i give rides almost every session at every event im at and some goofass would step on it. gauranteed. hahaa i have some fiberglass plywood that i might be able to make mega-strong pieces out of...same stuff i did my splitter with. awesome stuff.

main reason i'm actually doing it the skirts , besides me thinking the PCIs look rad on EGs and DCs, is to cover some lil' dents on the bottom of the rocker the paintless guy couldnt get to. when i hit the tire wall at carolina the car kinda jumped up on the bottom layer of tires. dont tell anyone. LOL @ me being in a car show.

so sometimes it runs perfect, no codes, sometimes its tossing ELD/etc codes and running like crap?

if thats the case, you've got one of two things going on IMO.

1) crappy ground somewhere thats sometimes working, sometimes not. not as likely as my other idea...
2) your conversion wiring isnt sound. something is loose and sometimes touching something its not supposed to. go over all wires and make sure all connections are clean, solid (soldered or crimped properly), isolated, etc.

wiring is good...i solder like a champ! if it was wiring, it would be doing it all the time.....
grounds i can see....i do know that the alternator ground is kinda shotty.... i think i almost broke it off.... ill double check that...
what about the ELD? for what shitty research ive found on the interwebs is that si's had EDL sensors and everything else didnt in the EF chassis? like my stock ef sedan fusebox doesnt have an ELD, but the si ecu is looking for it? but then i also read that the ELD is in the si ECU.. wtf...

Injector resistor box maybe?
Not too familiar with that sort of conversion... Here is a good write up with wire diagrams and colors. I think you may find what you need here.. or at least it will give you a good base to go test some of your issues.

wouldnt be a resistor box. it would throw a injector code.
its throwing code 1 (o2 sensor) and code 20 (ELD).

That's pretty much what I was doing. Tom is an awesome guy though. It's too bad he went to Buttonwillow the next day and blew that motor!

I was giving everyone at the dyno day sh*t. I basically told people that I was pulling 1 coil pack plug on all the k-series cars so they'd be at my power level. I was close to the bottom of the list in power, but up there on track times. That's all I can tell you

Those look really good dude! I already told Super Street that you were a show queen trying to get into the track scene and would like to participate in FF Battle 4

and a fallen EF brother who blew his motor day of the event:
