this is probably a Vega question. Did any usdm crx's come with that arm rest? I found one in a crx si last summer in a junkyard. I was hoping it would fit my hatch, but it didn't work. So I sold it. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I think they were an option for usdm cars? Either way, the one pictured is for a civic (since it has the ashtray for the rear passengers). That's the one I have in my rex and it fit fine.

So, civic armrest in crx = , crx armrest in civic = ???

Well, this was from a US crx. I assumed it was an option. The car had fogs at one point, because my friend took the switch, brackets and wiring for the fogs. We also found a OEM honda moonroof deflector in that junkyard for his hatch.

The armrest mounts over the center console/parking brake. The crx armrest will not mount over the civic console/parking brake, as I tried it. Most likely you would need to swap the console as well.

I love those pants. It makes laying on the garage floor not so bad. I have a heater in my garage, but even when it's 55-60 in there, the floor is damn cold!

I think crx and civic did have the option of have arm rest over here.. a lot of people probably were to cheap to pay the extra $200 for it though

just like the fogs.
Japanese people probably more crazy over Honda Optional stuff then American people were back in the day

My theory is that in the US, the earlier hondas were just for going to work and getting good mileage. but over in japan, they were basically the main type of vehicle, so they made them nicer. whereas americans had a civic "just to go to work", and a "nice" american car for the family

I had a crx armrest in the civic. I just cut the centerconsole some for it to fit. It worked fine. Damn I miss the armrest.

I figured it could be made to fit, but I did not want to use it if I had to modify it. I opted to make some $$ from it

I finally got some parts painted-

Not too bad for a single stage paint!

I ran out of time for doing body work on the front bumper so I had to just concentrate on prepping where the blue paint is. The front didnt turn out too good because I had to rush it. Its ok though becasue I'm really good at doing touch ups! The unpainted trim pieces are being sprayed with SEM bumper texture and sprayed over with SEM trim black. Taping off the grill and trim areas was a royal PITA!

Here is a teaser pic of my new wheels, yes I know the offset is low but I like the look. Thanks Eric for the wheels!

It was 30 in MN today! I switched back to my summer wheels, and had the sunroof open for the first time in months

Damn you work fast Shane! Those parts were all black when I saw them on Saturday! Lookin good with the rpf1's! I can't wait to see that bumper with my old lip on it.

Are you still planning on filling in the holes left over from the grill being cut out on the front bumper?

Yeah I will fill them later, I just wanted to get the blue sprayed while I had the booth availible. It might not be done for the meet but it will at least be sprayed black.
