Yep exactly, which is one reason i particularly dont like to run my round fogs...but they do seem to provide more light output over the squares.
About the skirts, Im working on having them coated so they'll never chip. Nihkon actually gave me a good idea on what i should do.

Oh yeah I remember talking to you about that at the meet. I plan on using SEM bumper trim texture on all of my black sections. Even though it may chip over time I can simply respray over it without priming. It can be sprayed directly over plastic.
I'm still not sure what can be done to provide a non chip surface. You might want to look into some rubberized coatings.

I totally agree with you man. The CRX version of that lip looks about 1000000x better. I think the problem with the hatchback version of the lip is too tall. There are very very few of them that actually look good on the HB's in my opinion. And the one on Eggman's car isn't one of them.
And you're right about the huge lip making the sides look unfinished. The sideskirts would really need to be painted white (in Eggman's case) to make it look right with that lip. That would bring the sides of the car down to the same level as the lip. Otherwise, Eric is right, it looks like a snowplow.

not even close...but getting there.
Seriously to even use those side skirts you have to make sure your door it proped up right and properly aligned.
When I had them on the other car as you can see closing the door was almost a headach because it would scrap the paint off. I sanded them down and everything but it would still rub like hell.
I'm going to try to fit them on this car soon and hope for the best if not then I'm selling them

i just don't get it...first ef owners complain about how there is nothing available such as lips and things..then they complain about what is being made...LOL!!! and people wonder why the industry could careless about our cars...we are a small group as it is, meaning items are not going to be very high demand in the first place, not to mention 90% are too CHEAP to wanna spend moeny on the car....on top of that we complain about what IS actually being made...LOL!!

The lip just doesnt flow well with the hatchback, accept it.
You're right, if u hear me complaining, it will be about the quality of the stuff already out there.

SEM is used on my front and back bumper trim sections and the front is taking a beating. Im ok with it though...it shows my car gets driven.
Rubberized is where its at, hopefully it works out.

Just because its one of a few lips made for the hatch doesnt make it a good looking or even good quality part. It sucks that there are becoming fewer and fewer parts for the ef but that doesnt mean we should lower our standards.
If it were me and only had that lip to choose from I either wouldnt buy it or I would customize it to look the way I want. We have to face the facts that our cars are becoming more like old hard to find domestics and will soon be faced with having to do more custom work to get what we want!
Think, about 5-10 years from now there will be virtually nothing left in stock at the Honda dealer for any EF.
