hey guys, any of you with any experience with f1spec seats or memory fab seats? im pick up one by next weekend, having trouble deciding. its between these two. about 200.00 difference between the seats


and

Memoryfab PROS- replaceable cover, memory foam, look

im around 2 hours from either shop, f1spec or memoryfab. im gonna get one tuesday after class. 400 for a used s58 seat? i can do that new so not really a deal for me, sorry. the thing that scares me about the memoryfab seat is the fact that it is carbon fiber, but the guy from memoryfab brought up a good point. a racing seat is a racing seat, its still gonna be a risk. well, i have to decide by tuesday morning.

for us midwesterners we have to factor in shipping since we don't have many shops within driving distance excluding king.

 

they dont make brackets for 88 EFs. they have to be custom made. so more then likely, i will be using the generic mounts they come with and use my stock sliders with them. the f1spec sliders look like they will bolt up no problem. im not sure if the memoryfab seats come with generic sliders, that may be the deciding point. because getting custom rails is going to be close to 200.00 as i was quoted

- im still not sure if i will keep the crx, im kinda waiting for a great deal to pop up for a corolla gts hatch (ae86) because i really want 4 seats (have kids eventually) and RWD. there are more and more ads popping up on craigslist on the for sale area, im just waiting for the right one to come around. if i dont find one, i will just stay with the crx though.
