1 ls vtec are very very very reliable as long as you tune it.

2 Sti are slow as ****.

if i can find a clean one. the CRX is truly my favorite car of all time. not favorite honda, my favorite CAR. screw a bugatti veyron. id like to get a RHD SIR in that maroon color they came in over there.

but if i can not find one my next choice is DC2 with the SIR2 front.

these things are not that expensive in the grand scheme. ill probably put more down on my house and lay low fro mthe fars for a few months until i can re-adapt to civilian life with my new job and what not. then ill rip back into it.

for about 1000 in parts you could make your ef walk a sti, LS boost, and they are reliable for 300whp, if thats not enough pistons rods and b16a head for 1000 and you are makeing 400+

I could but I wanna be able to put the kid in the car w/out taking out the front seats to fit her in.
Plus i live in cali...having a STi like that to get clothes and shoes in would be c00l with me

i built my friends LSV with oem parts and i gurantee it will go 70k miles before it starts to get blow by.

thats the problem james you have all these preconcieved notions you accept as inalienable truths that you hold self evident within your brain housing group.

true for the child issue, the subaru is much better than an ef, I forgot in cali you have to constantly watch your image. I roll in a dirty truck in dirty cloths, but that is who i am, and im damn proud of it

but if you want to go for the oem thing, at least have an oem motor.

there is a mint harvard blue 91 EF up here with the oem gold emblems very rare car owned by a japanese guy who is 90 something yrs old.

ill set you up with it. its the one these kids thoguth was RHD until i looked i nthe window and talked to his wife one day. she is like 87.

Having a swap with OEM spec factory settings in my car
there hopefully that cleared up the confusion.
Believe me going back and forth about what motor I should have in my car never seemed like something logical to argue about with the person who drives the car. But then again I don't know much.
Slow or not is my car and I enjoy ever second of mashing on my z6.
People drive up to my revving there engine and i just look at them like they are dumb.
Being fast never really meant much to me as going to work and taking care of the family i have and making sure I get home safe.
But then again like I said above.

thats a lil beyond baller for me. But i did use money to by the harness if that makes up for the lack of "*****" in my baller

but i still had to cut some wires and resorder because some **** didn't go right. I could blame it on the harness or just lack of

yea james you know so much, thats why you still have the obd0 map sensor hanging off your ******* firewall with your obd1 engine in the bay

Dam im glad i dont go back and read the pages i missed anymore. I love my little ef but i would drop it in a second for a clean b13 sentra se-r. Ive been priceing ep3 lately and i think that will be my new daily. My car mite be up for sale in the spring if i can find a clean se-r. Just giving everyone a heads up. It will go for cheap trust me on that.
