theo nly difference is the pistons. 1st have pr3 and 2nd have p30s. i dunno, i think it might be coincidence partner. i jstu got off the phone with randy. apparently turbonetics makes a snail they call a super 60 which is perfect for a b16 at 10psi which is wat ill probably run.
whatll the stock bottom ends handle?

I dont think its any physical difference, they just hate boost. There is no real reson exept the jdm b16a with 30k miles, really have been beaten hard before coming over. BUt idk. They will safely make 300whp, but u can go to 350+ depending on tuning fuel and teh size of your ***** lol. Super 60 is a nice turbo i run the 57 trime 63 ar on mine and i love it. Just watch my videos it goes good for 14 psi daily. The spool is instant and it will make 450 whp.
expletive it, if u blow it, you can always get a ls bottom for dirt, and ls bottom take a beating. MY one freind blew his b16a and swapped in a 75 dollar ls and is making 260ish no problem. What EMS u going to run?

i have a fresh b20b bottom end that only needs 1 piston to be complete.

yea but youre sleeved by benson. i want to be at 300whp, at 10psi with a nice ramhorn, the super 60, and itll be tuned on crome pro like everything else ive done.

ive always been an NA guy, had a bad *** 85x77.4 motor that made good power but i was on the edge. i checked the pricing of some boost stuff. its cheap relatively speaking. then i talked to randy (rmf) and he put the nail in the coffin for NA.

Yeah i would get a ebay cooler, some diy piping dsm 450 and obd1 crome
You can make 300 for cheep. You dont need a ramhorn but they are baller, byson sells a nice ef topmount that works with the fullrace rad for like 600 bean.
Im running an inline promanifold which works with a stock crx radiator, i really want to get a full race but thats just to be baller lol.

see, this is how i have figured it. im going budget minded on the injectors, intercooler piping and intercooler. because YOU CAN and not worry. along with crome which is free if you knwo what youre doing.
but the 3 things i do not want to skimp on anre the turbo, the manifold and the downpipe.
i have a eg radiator to use on mine so lookin at a couple ramhorn manifolds. i think randy (rmf) is g oing to get me one of those super 60s. im seeing bar and plate intercoolers on ebay for less than a bill and nice looking tubing for like 70. i already have the dsm injectors and a resistor box.
ill probably spend 1100 bucks on all of it.
due we need to talk about tail lights and ****. people hate engine banter 'round these parts.

dp is cheep, you can build a full 3" turbo back for 250-300 in ss, also if u want a desent cheep turbo, go with a gm turbo (the ones off the turbo diesel) they are like a 60 trim and make very nice power.
I run a ebay xoxo intercooler, 31x9x3 for 170 shipped how can i go wrong?

I'll have one for sale very soon, Turbonetics T3 super 60. It is on my old B16 CRX now with less than 500 miles on it (the owner babies it hardly ever drives it). I'm building the whole motor over and will be putting on a larger turbo.

hahaha i do. its on the stand. 84.25x89 k20 mains, gsr rod bearings, decked the block .030'' in anticipation of millign the head .040. the pistons will put me at about 12:1CR.
what made me decide was a phone call to randy about a header. i have always been straddling the fence between the 2 and he was like "dude, just go turbo, youll make 300 all day, 220someting torque" then he made about 5 "vtec noises" and i started pricing manifolds. thats pretty muc hhow my afternoon went.
and i know you put "guru" in quotes to be cute but, whatever is clever, "boss".
then i dropped the spray gun while spraying, broke a fuckign fitting, the compressor regulator went out so the primer started coming out like a ******* chop gun, i get a text from my gf telling me a couple jits are blabbing in anotehr thread. what an evening.
