body decals would have set it all off

 

my valvecover. it is candy apple metal flake with a translucent metallic purple followed by HOK super clear, which is what is on my car. notice the cam gear area how there is a nice consistent 4mm over hang? did that freehand with an angle grinder. got my knuckle too. shaved all emblems and the front grounding tab. the secret to the smoothness is etching primer.



this is after the translucent purple metallic and in lower light


i stripped my brake booster and wirewheeled the corrosion off of it. i gave it the identical treatment to my valve cover and its a perfect match


this is the first coat of paint on one of the SIR fenders.

they are all cellphone pics thats what i had on me at the time. my hands are always covered in grease or primer or soldering flux so i dont wanna mess my good camera up.
