Hey dude, is it just me or are those"iceman" units identical to the Jimfab ones that were taken off the market? I have been running the Jimfab unit for about 2 years now with pretty much no issues at all. Only thing i fukin hate is that i cant jack the car up from the front middle spot anymore. </TD></TR></TABLE>

chronological order

1. darkstar (made by the owner of iceman before he owned iceman)
2. jimfab
3. iceman (re-released darkstar under iceman product name)

Chad i do know a bit about cars ive done alot of work on nissans . I had my 91 se-r that was making 185.6 hp at the wheels n/a and had that car since new. Ive not messed with hondas im not used to have to switch wiring harnesess or anything. Im looking for a about 140 whp out of the std when its all said and done.

The axles are diffrent. the std has unequal length if i remember correctly and a diffrent spine count then the other models. I was thinking about going a diffrent route with the axles because from what i understand the equal lenght axles will handle better. Thats what im looking for out of the std is handling not so much power. Im going to get back into auto-x and hpde. When my skill increases so with the power.

i always wanted to get a 03 SER, build an adapter plate for an sr20 for the qr25 6 speed lsd tranny and build it to the tune of about 350whp or so.. that would rip ******** apart.

if you want a 140whp good handling ef that isnt impossible to find parts for i say put in a D16Z6 (92-95 ex/si) with an si tranny and just bolt on I/H/E and then a decent cam when you have another 300 bucks layin around. thatll do right at 140whp and its cheap.

I don't know about 140
stock number is 125-130
to the floor maybe 105-110 if that
added I/H/E would probably bring it up to 120-125

I knew someone who went obd-1 d15 vtec w/ I/H/E/ HonData s300, cam (can't remember what brand), pulley, port and polish, chipped p28 and dynoed at I believe 150 to the ground. That was in a 90 cr-X si
I'll find my old thread and get the exact numbers and mods

that x-member has been out since the late 90s. jsut under a different name.

no they dont all serve the same purpose. some eliminate wheel hop, some provide more clearance for a header but do nothing for wheel hop. some do both.

JDM ITR, Profab prolly, that RMF that goes like a foot straight out the head then bends. I know that its similar to the JimFab and alot of headers dont clear that one.

the same amount of money i invest in that motor will most likely cost the same amount if I sell it and installed the b16
But I have thought about it

I have a gsr bottom end that i plan to mate with a b16 head. i will be using jdm itr pistons. probably port and polish. do you think i would need a new valve train to run bigger cams, with my goal of 200+ whp? i will be using a header, but i dont know which one. thoughts?</TD></TR></TABLE>
i know it wasn't a question for me...
you definetly need better valvetrain than the stock b16 if you want to run anything bigger than type r cams.
200 hp is do-able on a dc jdm 4-1, but it will be easier to get to your goal with a nicer header though. just depends on your budget.

there are instances of dc jdm itr not clearing the jimfab.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=737176

might depend on your mount kit i guess?
