You do not have to swap the axles for any reason. You can use the same axles. If I remember correctly there is no difference between STD and DX axles. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Double check where you're getting this info from.

I don't know that they are the best, but I like mine. I paid around $600 for them, with 1 set of springs. The ride is firm with 195/14" azenis. A friend had the same car and omni with 15" dunlops, and his car was a little smoother. I also have no rear interior, he had full interior. (I don't know if 30lbs makes a diff., but whatever)

If I did it again, I would either go with GC's and konis, or JIC or F2

That seems to be the general consensus. At the time I bought the omni's, it was only a little more money to go from GC's to omnis. I wanted a full coilover, but the downside to the omnis is you can't adjust dampening. For street and future autox, I feel like made a good choice though

Kragen

I'm trying to remember though.
I went to Kragen looking for axles and they had rebuilt ones and I think they had the same part number as the DX ones. It was either that or DX and Si axles are the same. The same meaning it has the same number of hub splines and the STD hub has less splines.
Does that sound correct??

I know I know everyone is going to say don't buy Kragen axles just rebuild your old ones

i'm wondering if anybody had tried it. i know the full race one has 2 linkages in the radius rod, and this one only has one. I would think 1 would be fine since thats how it technically is oem, but I've heard people say their traction bars bind too.
