Yeah basically sick of it I know if I keep it ill dump more money into and then want to sell it again in 4 months, so it's not worth it. I don't have any regrets only regret ill have is not selling it sooner.

BTW. I am going to need a motor for my std. Ive done alot of searching so please dont tell me to do so. Whats motor can i drop in there that will net me decent hp in stock form, wont cost an arm and a leg and can be done quickly with minimal fuss.
My lil car has a bad valve or something. Im down to 25 mpg and it cuts out bad at idle. It runs ok on the top end but sucks bad down low. I just done a complete tuneup on it and still no dice.

Im looking at another d-series maybe one out of the 92-95 ex dont know motor codes like you guys. I know sr20. The jdm sohc zc ,or d15b and the dohc zc. and the i want to switch the tranny and all.

Ive been told to switch axles and then some say i dont have to set me straight. I looked in the crx/civic section but thats to braod in there. This is more concentrated ef group.

Give me answers please not greif . I have 1500 now for the whole swap and ill be doing it with another guy who as done b swaps and zc swaps. My votse is for the zc dohc.

yeah what he said

you can get a z6 w/ any 5spd tranny (anything is better then a 4spd ).
You do not have to swap the axles for any reason. You can use the same axles. If I remember correctly there is no difference between STD and DX axles
As far as power go z6 = dohc ZC with the exception of vtec being present. The ZC you get will end up being obd-0 so there is no need for a conversion harness but you will need to add wires to compensate for the two extra fuel injectors. You will need to get a Si distributor, Si wiring harness so that you can add the extra plugs and wires, but make sure you keep you old harness. You will also need a resistor box. You'll also need the correct ecu because you STD ecu will not support the upgrade in fuel. Hopefully everything else you need will be on the motor. Now if you go z6 with a 92-95 wiring harness for use of the plugs and a conversion harness for obdo to obd-1. You will also need a p28 ecu. After my research the motors are comparable. Some people go dohc zc because the plan on going boost and don't car for the vtec in the first please. No comes to point in the comment when I start t ramble without making any since. You can find a dohc zc with lower miles on because its coming from japan. I would suggest this if you do car about the miles on the motor. But this does not mean the motor was better taken care of just because it has low miles. If you want to know the history of the motor buy a z6 from someone who already has it in their car and ask them as many question as possible as far as maintenance goes. The are basically the same price range depending on seller. All the bolt ons are universal. Headers that work on a a6 will work on a z6 will work on a dohc zc. Cams aswell. I'm trying not to ramble but I can say so much. If you choose to read this whole thing then I would just skim through it and take out the information you want.

there is a part where it says "as far as power go..."

and im thinkin...wtf? then i think about james' racialistness and i say it in my head as james would say it. then it makes perfect sense.

i used a karl malone voice. i.e. "karl malone dont do drugs cuz karl molone play basketball for the utah jazz"
