But yeah, that's about it. haha

edit: oh yeah, i can pick up all the parts I buy and not pay ridiculous amounts of $ shipping them from CA businesses.

hmmmm for me
when I build a car I have to order all the parts (I do this at one time in mass quantity) from a store, business whatever usually located in KILLA KALI....I usually end up paying alot of shipping.

there are about 100 million places where Id be happy with a floor sweeping job at a speed shop/machine shop....0 where I live

Id prolly end up living in a refredgerator box under the 909 but Id be happy

and it would be 70-100 all year round and MY GODDAMN CAR WOULDNT RUST

Then what's the point? I realize the dangers of getting in an accident, but wouldn't you rather enjoy your work than just go sit in the car while its in the garage?

i didnt mean EVER. but trust me, in southern california you HAVE to use discretion. there are certain times and places where you are guranteed either cops, theives, ignorant soccer moms or parking lot traffic.

hell i boycotted the entire town of brea california. havent been there since july 2006.

I'm just saying I don't like it when people build cars they don't drive. I agree there are shitty places to take a car. You should see what the winter does to the roads in here WI. There are many places/roads I won't go just so I don't tear off my exhuast

I know a guy with a crx who never drives it. He has about $10k in it and it just sits in the garage. To me that's dumb. I don't take mine hatch anywhere were I can't see it if its parked, but you do have to be careful.

its too bad that you cant have a car with everything that you have ever wanted on it and drive it around without it being stolen.

one of the main reasons that my car stands the way it does now. plain...

I know. It sucks. And you can park at $8k ef next to a $50k porsche and your civic will get broken into.

Funny thing is I was so worried about my old rusty ef, but now I have a decent looking 240, and I don't always bother to even lock it around my house.

It might be dumb to you if you have never put that much time and money into an EF. I guarantee if you spent that kind of cash and time to restore an EF than you wouldnt drive it that much. You would think differently if it was your car.

For me the money isnt as bad as the countless man hours I have into my ride. I dont drive my car half as much as when it was stock. Its what happens when you make that kind of sacrifice and investment!

True that. I would really love to drive my EF everywhere and anywhere, but sadly i wont for fear of being jacked. Thats just the way it is.

i rather put mine on its roof in the corkscrew at laguna seca than have a couple tweekers in inglewood steal it.
