He was implicated by possibly looking like someone, who may have been possibly been seen getting into or out of the possibly stolen vehicle by a third party because the OP made the assumption 89civicsi was the same guy being described because he had met up with him previously to purchase parts.
Geez - what's with all the drama lately? We all drive EF's, like old stuff and have SOME time on our hands... should be cool in here at least. When everyone is getting along, there are some pretty good discussions with people using more than half a brain.

Offset for 15x8's would probably call for less than 40. I'd say 38 to 35...you don't want tire scrubbing knuckle. Tires would be 225/45/50's. I need to take better pics of my 14x6 Super RAPs...that's basically what you would be going for. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Would an 8" wheel fit without rubbing the tire on the inner side? My Rpf1's are 7" +35 and I only have .25" of clearance at full stop between the tire and the frame up front. It probably needs to be a really low offset to make it work, but then good luck not destroying the fenders!

Dont forget the inside of the rim/tire contacting the trailing arm in the rear.

That too! Its not worth it imo. I have a hard enough time with clearance with a 7" wheel.

Basically you would need an 8 inch wheel with a +22.5 offset to have the same clearance as a 7inch +35. Good luck making an 8 inch wheel with a 22.5 offset work with the stock fenders

my front fenders are rolled already, I just want a wheel that isnt quite stock but still has sort of an undercover sleeper look,
Okay, I get what you guys are saying, x8 too much trouble. What wheel size should I get 15x7? what offset,+35? I want to get as deep of a lip as possible for the look, but I dont want any other major issues as far as rubbing and destroying fenders. I also want as much tire as I can get to the ground for track driving.
would I have the same problems with a 14x8 also?
I dont know, Im just getting more and more confused

Erik, just so you know, most people on here don't like low offset wheels because they're not functional (for the most part before I start a ridiculous debate).
I realized that Mr. STD Clayton, haha, i meant rediculous in the full sense of the word...remember the 4 door old school jetta we saw at the Varsity meet? I agree with you, when you have to stretch the side wall of the tire horizontally to get to the side of the wheel, thats a bad thing...word...FTW...haha
HAHAHAHA!!! Thats it!!!!!!!!!! The car doesnt actually look half bad as a whole tho...btw, I parked my civic under the low part of the ramp just behind that jetta...pics to come soon when im off work...lol

With an 8 inch wheel +22.5, the wheel will stick out 47.5mm more than it would with a 6inch +45 or 35mm more than a wheel thats 7inch +45 (12.5+22.5).
Right now im running 15x6.5 +45mm Sw388s with a 15mm spacer and it looks as though when its fully lowered the 205 azenis are gonna be inline with the fender. A 8 inch wheel with a 22.5mm offset is going to stick out 26.25mm more than that. All these numbers are with me using 1 inch = 25mm
