Actually I still don't know what that means. But I do know that when you hit a dip in the road you HIT a dip in the road.

haha, your car may very well handle worse with your new 1/2" of travel. And im sure u have bottomed out. If i go any lower with my car (im not slammed right now) it will bottom out on the bigger bumps. EF's bottom out with the quickness.
I love how people with an EF roll around dumped like crazy and at the same time claim it rides good without bottoming. What BS.

x2....looks good, but does not handle, just because your ride has no body roll, doesn't mean it handles well.

I took a 6 hour trip one time in my Fit, it didn't bother me a bit. In fact, I thought it was a great road trip car. Far better than the Element SC I took to IA last year. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I've made this 6-8 hour trip maybe 30-40 times in the past 3 years and I've got to say that the best car I've driven up and down has been my friend's fully loaded 6-speed TSX with NAVI...second best the EF with cage and everything else.
For some reason I couldn't seem to get my seating position correct with the sports Fit. I've just become so accustomed to having a dead rest pedal that without it I started leaning my body to one side about 2 hours in, Lol. Result = my Right cheek is sore as hell right now, but my left is perfectly fine haha

James, what suspension did you finally decide to go with? Also, are you planning to get corner balancing done and all of that cool shizzz?

Exactly. You need some roll for weight transfer unless you have huge amounts of downforce like F1 cars. It's not a good idea to eliminate most of the travel on a street car anyway, but we all agree the EF's usually look best at maximum dumpage

I have been avoiding speed bumps for the time being just so I can feel justified for that claim
I'm going to raise it 1/2" though later this week. Although I don't totally agree with riding dumped like that, I only did it for the show.
It looks good but boi does it ride like complete ****

I'm still on the GR-2 for the time being.
I had the fund to purchase some AGX's but they were used and didn't feel completely comfortable spending money on something used that I might as well buy brand new.
so the VC money will go to the new shocks/struts
and I plan on doing all the bushings from the control arms and all when thats done as well.

The engine bay is getting painted this weekend!!11 I'm waiting for a few more OEM parts to come in at work and it'll be ready to drop back in and fire up the second weekend of August! After that, I gotta start wrenching away on the little stuff and get the car back into the paint shop for the exterior.
