i beat the living **** out of the fit. i had no idea it was a racecar!!! i hatred this thing until yesterday. it was killing evos, s2000s, and m3s in the corners and was able to gain enough ground to keep them off of me in the straights. for being such a basic setup, this car handled amazing!

I considered shelving the ef in favor of a fit for a minute...but it's just that I'm oldschool like that...

I'm trying to convince my gf to trade in her pos saturn and get a Fit sport in blackberry pearl. Best of both worlds

trust me, i was tempted to sign myself up for the supercharger kit, right there on the spot!!! hahahaha actually, im considering their k20 kit for the crx. the prototype makes 300whp and 260wtq at only 6 psi.

Wow nice pics Joe. Man Oscar has gotten pretty hefty. I met him way back in the day - When I first got my Del Sol DOHC VTEC (I had gotten it 3 months early for US release) and ran into him at a Battle of the Imports event up in Palmdale.

He was gonna protoype a SC for my car as it wasn't the standard SOHC. Fast forward a couple of months and I had the car impounded due to driving while suspended and had to pass on the deal before we could start.

See man! It's addicting. Once you start, you can't go a very long time without hitting the track again. Glad to see you took the initiative and got out there.

How'd the pads hold up?

You do not NEED r-compounds for quite some time. Learn on street tires...it'll be more fun sliding the car around anyways.

what pads? ROFL!

they did okay until the last session where i really really beat the car up... one corner kept vibrating and the pedal would push back... id use the trans to slow me, and a little on/off gas to get the car to whip around. but the rest of the track was fine, car was too slow to really use any brakes, just kinda floored it everywhere.

its a rotrex blower... it bolts in where the A/C compressor used to be. its similar to the comressor side of a turbo with some added benefits of no spool time.

i liked the hankook ventus on ryans old wheels.... they would do well for about 15 minutes of hard flogging. but the last 10 minutes would slide really bad. i just used that and would try to slide the car into and out of corners.

Hey joe, are the rotrex blowers using variable vane tech yet? To adjust boost without upping shaft speed?
